I only wish they were a bit bigger but its wonderful
Uncle Ben's fried rice has always been my favorite love the individual microwavable cups
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cups are so convenient for good on the go lunch or even a snack. It packs the same flavor as the stove top rice just with a quicker more convenient cook time . It's a small container — one serving. Cute packaging. 10/10
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I forgot to take a photo of the dish I made with this rice but I put it with some home made sweet and sour chicken and it was delicious!! So fast and easy to make which is what I love for a fast paced lifestyle!
not what I expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delicious! Super easy meal to pack for my work lunches. I like that I can just throw it in my lunch box or keep it in my desk for an easy lunch. The instructions are accurate and easy to understand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ben’s Original Fried Rice with Peas and Carrots cups offer a quick and satisfying meal option, especially for busy days. The portion size is ideal for a light lunch or a filling snack, and it’s easy to prepare in just a few minutes. The taste is surprisingly flavorful, with a good balance of savory rice, sweet carrots, and tender peas. The texture of the rice is pleasantly fluffy not mushy or dry which is impressive for a microwavable product. The ingredients are simple and familiar, making it a comfort food option you can feel good about. Each cup is well seasoned without being overly salty. The packaging is compact, convenient, and microwave-safe, perfect for on the go meals or office lunches. Overall, Ben’s Original Fried Rice delivers great value with good flavor and convenience, especially when you want something quick that doesn’t sacrifice quality or comfort. Definitely a pantry staple worth stocking up on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fried rice microwaveable cup was very easy to make and super convenient for on-the-go or a lazy meal. It smelled great when it was in the microwave, but I did find that it lacked flavor once I ate it. The texture wasn't as good as fresh rice (which is to be expected). I think if I were to make it again, I would probably add some soy sauce, maybe a little sesame oil, and potentially an egg or some protein. But a super convenient meal if you are going to be somewhere with only a microwave.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is good. Don’t get me wrong. However, it absolutely needs to have some stuff added to it to make it better. I added broccoli, green onions, a chicken strip (I stole from my teenager’s plate), and some soy sauce. Then I sautéed it in a pan for just a few. It was so much better then. I recommend this as a base for a quick fried rice. Not an “alone” fried rice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this, but it wasn't good at all. I would spend 10-15 minutes extra and make fried rice from scratch. There's a terrible chemical taste, and the rice has a texture of plastic. The only positive thing is that it smells great.
