It is great for my needs. Living in a small apartment, a full-sized coffee maker was always in the way. Making one cup at a time makes more sense for my needs. It is also nice to have a one cup maker to use for any time I want cocoa, tea, or some other hot beverage. Pretty happy with this purchase.
Did not like at all pod doesn't fit whole pot extremely hot when trying to make coffee taking it back would not ever order this pot again and I hope nobody else does
I like it, but wish single serves kept the coffee hot! They just shut off when water compartment is empty. It makes good coffee, but is very small, lite weight, perfect for travel or dorm. It looks cheap tho, but works for me. I would order again.
I bought this coffee maker because it was only for one cup. That's all I drink a day. It's wonderful I had Pods left over for my other machine and I just opened them up and pour it in the little container in the front works well or you can use regular ground coffee which I got and it's cheaper than buying the pods and the whole thing with insurance only for two year i had Pods left over for my other machine and I just opened them up and pour it in the little container in the front works well or you can use regular ground coffee which I got and it's cheaper than buying the pods and the coffee maker and two years insurance only cost $20. You can't beat it.
The coffee pot would work for grounds but there is no puncture for pods so it doesn't make sense to say it is pod friendly. I didn't make ground coffee in it but there is no reason it wouldn't taste alright it is just the pod part that is off. Walmart should think about putting in as ebay, where you can carry the picture of the product over and add to your review I use a laptop and it too awkward to take pictures.
Was under the impression you could use pods with it. Not so. Also you can only use the smallest coffee cup in the house. Very disappointed and I am returning it. I only got this one because the other type I bought got lost in transit. Then they didn't have it on the website anymore.
NOT AS DESCRIBED. I ordered it because it claimed to be a "Pod Coffee Maker." Words on its box said it worked with pods. There was even a photo in the product description clearly showing that it would work with pods. But the coffee maker that was in the box was different: it does not work with pods. Also, the general construction of this coffee maker seemed very fragile to me. I don't think it would have a long life. I bought it online. If I had seen it in the store I would never have bought it. Product returned.
All I can say was I made a mistake purchasing this very small coffee maker, needed one desperately but didn't have the money to purchase the one I really wanted so I chose this , very disappointing, you need a very small cup to fit underneath for the coffee to drip which btw drips extremely slow , I had to give 1 star but if if I could have it would of been 0 stars and on a 1 - 10 scale it would of been a 1
this coffee maker worked once then it started doing the on for 30 seconds then turn off on for 30 seconds and then turn off until it got so hot I decided it better not to use it anymore
when you put the pods in and close lid there is nothing that punctures pod to let coffee out, water flows everywhere. You literally have to open pod and dump coffee into filter basket. You may as well buy regular coffee maker.
