The containers are excellent I have no complaints especially with the Seal and the mechanism for it. As long as it has longevity and the containers don't become cloudy with cleaning at some point. They are just what I wanted, even if I did confuse them with size of the one I have already.
Amazing! One hand is all that's required to open the lid. Great, pretty storage for pasta, my homemade granola, oatmeal or cereal. My cupboards are neatly organized and I love it! Great for stacking. I'm buying them one at a time but the transformation of my kitchen makes me very happy!
I have switched all my dry goods to these containers. Overall they are great. You have to watch that they seal all the way if it's a bit full and don't try to pick them up close to the lid because it could skip. But overall really happy with this product.
I bought this to store oatmeal in. I buy oatmeal in bulk and usually re-use the last paper (oatmeal) container I have. I prefer this clear, plastic container with a vacuum seal. When the lever (a wide loop attached to the top) is pressed down, the vacuum seal IS secure. When the lever is lifted up, the seal is released and the top is easily lifted off. Lifting and lowering the lever is also easy--NO force needed, BUT catching hold of the loop might be an issue for one with arthritis. This is one of my FAVORITE purchases because it has an ELEGANT appearance, is easy to open/close, and is a more secure way to store grains/ cereals/snacks, etc.
Thanks Walmart, I love the BJH canisters I ordered this one to add to the set I already have. They stack easily and for a bonus I can how much I need to add to my grocery order. And, having Walmart I don't have to pay for shipping. Y'all are missing out?
I was organizing my kitchen counter top and I'm the type of person who has to have everything I use at my fingertips, and yet I am still sort of OCD when it comes to everything having it's own place or container. Last week I thought to myself "I wish I had something clear to put my coffee pods in (one for regular and one for decaf)". So I jump on the internet to see what I can find. Lo and behold, there it was - - -a clear container in the size I needed and it was in stock at my local Walmart. I had Walmart , so I got free delivery within a day. Instant gratification!! This container is mostly for dry goods food storage, so if later I want to use it for that, I will have 2 great containers. The seal is of good quality as well! I bought something small and similar at the DGeneral and there is absolutely no seal strength at all. I am so impressed and happy with my purchase. I thought it was a decent deal for buying a 2-pack of these (around $21). I might buy more of this Better Homes %26 Gardens brand - - maybe a smaller one for kitty treat storage to keep them fresh. Highly recommend this product.
very convenient. helps organize items whether for kitchen or another room. we have keurig coffee ppds in this one. we have many sizes and brands but we like the way the lid locks in place on this one.
I really wanted to like these storage containers and I purchased 10 . They seal when first filled works but does not last. I'm using these in the kitchen for flour, sugar etc. Don't pick these up by the handle on top because of the failed seals. That's also a warning from the manufacturer. They are very attractive so if the seal isn't an issue, they are nice storage but I'm sure there are less pricey options.
I have a love-hate relationship with these flip tight containers. I redid my entire pantry and bought 20 or so of these containers and absolutely love them at first however, overtime the fliptop part ends up breaking so I have to keep replacing them with new ones because there is no way to contact Better Homes %26 Gardens to get a warranty claim I've tried emailing. I've tried calling, and I am never able to reach them to make a warranty claim if these lids only end up lasting a few months and when I've purchased these in the past a lot of times, I will have to send them back when I get them in the mail because either the lid cracked or the container is cracked so they don't do well if they are being shipped in the mail.
The item functionality is top notch (I have bought these before.) These 4 canisters were intended as gifts. HOWEVER, the delivered items had scratches all of them and I will have to return. Whoever packaged them used a plastic bag instead of a box. It is quite obvious these scratches happened prior to packing them or during the packing process. It was NOT the fault of the delivery person, because he was very careful in the delivery process as noted on my Ring camera. I will have to return these because they were supposed to be gifts.
