Better Homes & Gardens Cherry Finish Modern Digital Atomic Clock with Temperature, W86111

I bought this clock to have in my garage as part of my home gym. I needed something to keep track of workout times, as well as knowing what the temp is inside and outside during the day. The info displayed comes in clear and adjusts with the outdoor sensor throughout the day. The sensor has a good range of distance with the clock, as I have it installed on the opposite end of the house. Battery life comes down to which brand you put in for power. A total of 4 AA batteries is needed (2 for the clock, 2 for the sensor). I do recommend having the sensor be installed where it will not receive direct sunlight. I've had temp readings tell me that it is hot enough to fry an egg; but it is quite cool outside. All in all, this clock was worth the purchase.

I bought two of these clocks in and I am very happy with both of them. The time is accurate. I love that I have the outdoor and indoor temperature and I would highly recommend it. I have mine hanging on the wall, but they also have a stand where you can set them up on a desk table.

Clear instructions for intuitive and easy setup. Helpful link to website and video (which I needed as I initially couldn't get the outside temperature sensor to function . After clicking the link I simply followed the brief video instructions (which were a little more detailed than in packaging). I had sensor running in .just a few minutes. Excellent range (100ft.) although I have mine set just a few feet outside the room clock is situated. Accurate temperature both indoor and outdoor. Clock has large numbers clearly visible and brightness is good from a distance. I like the fact it it not illuminated or backlit so no distracting light at night (which means of course you can't see it in dark) but that's okay cause I didn't buy this as a nightlight. Sleek modern design. No "branding" anywhere on clock so very clean looking. I have mine on wall (hangs just like a picture) or there is a fold out brace for display on a table. Clock with ndoor/outdoor temp., day/date, and of course, either DST or Regular time. It has a Moon Phase indicator which I really like. I had another Atomic clock (Sharp) that was very similar which after–at least– a dozen years finally was fading so much I could hardly read the numbers so decided it was time to replace. Glad I did, as I really like this Better Homes %26 Gardens Atomic Clock (made by Lacrosse Technology). I hope it lasts as long as the one its replacing. Very happy so far.

I really like this clock. The display is large, it keeps perfect time (it's atomic, of course), and it reads the temperature in the room it is in and in one other. I keep this in the bedroom, and the other sensor is in the baby's room. It also tells the phase of the moon, if you happen to be interested. There is a military time setting and a U.S. time zone setting, so you can know the time anywhere in the country. It's great.

This replaced a VERY similar Lacrosse one that was over 20 years old, and the outdoor sensor finally died. I installed the new sensor outside using 3 Ziplock freezer bags each inside another for 3 layers of protection. Low and behold the 20 year old clock also saw the new sensor! So now I have both the old and new ones running fine in my house. This new one did set itself to the atomic clock very fast with just one hold down of the time button. I really like these! The temperature is right on the money ( -5f this morning in Michigan). If you want to install 2 of these in your home buy 2, but only use 1 of the outdoor sensors. Save the 2nd sensor as a spare.

If I could have one in each room I would!! The fact that it's wireless and never resetting it when power goes out is incredible. Always knowing the temperature outside and indoors is amazing and the Moon phase is an added bonus!! LOVE THIS CLOCK 🥰

This is a beautiful atomic clock. It displays both indoor and outdoor temperatures. it was easy to set up and looks great in our living room. Better Homes and Gardens also included a years subscription to their magazine with the clock.

The reason for the 3 on the display is I feel it needs a light or at least that option. Had I payed attention to that I would not have ordered this one. I love everything else about it except it's hard to see. You need background lighting.

This is a good wall-clock with all of the features I was looking for--except one thing--A BACKLIGHT so the time is ALWAYS lit up. I needed a digital clock immediately, so I will have to find a creative way to light this clock for dim light and night-time viewing when I hang it on the wall! So only 3-Stars! (This model is also made with a stand and the controls are along the top so it can be used on a table or desktop. But even then, a backlight would be Very Useful.)

The only thing I don't like about this clock is the moon phase. It is backwards in color. When there is a full moon, the moon is totally dark, like a new moon. The lighter portion of the moon phase is the sky, not the moon. Very difficult to look at and immediately know the phase of the moon. When there is a crescent moon, the crescent is black, not lighter colored like it should be and is everywhere else.
