Better Homes & Gardens Rustic Country Office Desk, Weathered Pine Finish

A little complicated to put together. However the finished product is sturdy and well worth it! Purchased for my 12 y/o son since they are now doing virtual learning. We knew we needed something sturdy since he tends to be rough with his stuff. This has not disappointed and love the drawers for storage. Great price as well!

We have converted a formal dining room to an office and this desk was the perfect size. I've posted it in photos and have received so many compliments! It's simple but the lower drawer is big enough to hold cords, and our printer fits nicely on the lower shelf. All pieces are labeled for convenience, but it did take a solid 2 1/2 hours to assemble.

It really does look great. Looks just like the photo. Easy to build. The instructions were extremely well done. It took me roughly an hour to build. Make sure you use a power drill. Otherwise building will take substantially longer. It's a smaller desk but the drawers are pretty big for the size of the desk. It's heavy and sturdy.

Desk is fairly time consuming but straight forward to assemble. I followed instructions exactly as is and did not have any missing parts, ill fitting parts. Good quality desk. Happy with purchase.

My husband and I each have this desk now and we are very pleased with the look and solid feel of this model. We should enjoy our desks for years to come!

I am pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of this desk. It looks just like the photo online. I am pretty handy and it took a few hours to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and pieces clearly labeled. I thought that the drawer would be large enough for files, but it is too small.

I read all the reviews on this product before purchasing. It was quite a bit more work to assemble than anticipated. The first day from unpacking thru Step 4 was two hours. That included a phone call to the support number to find out that "yes, the screw holes aren't always large enough for the metal screws". In addition to the power screwdriver and flashlight, my husband also used a drill to make the holes large enough to accommodate all the metal screws in two sections of the frame. On day two, both of us working together spent more than two hours completing the next 20 steps. The parts were all labeled correctly and none missing so that was a bright spot in the assembly process. The desk looks great, nice and solid, but because of the amount of labor to assemble it, I couldn't in good conscience recommend it to a friend. If you buy it, it would be worth paying someone to assemble it.

Love our new desk! Roomy enough for computer and some desk accessories on top and holds our printer perfectly above the drawer on the open shelf. I bought a piece of tempered glass to use as a desk top to protect the laminate. Used 6 clear sta-put plastic bumpers between the glass and the desk to keep it in place. Perfect solution for drinking coffee at my desk in the morning. Takes a little bit of patience to assemble. I invited my son over to do it. Suggestion: lay all the pieces out before you begin to assemble. The color is more a brownish pine, not the light yellow pine. 4 stars because it's laminate and not really considered solid wood. 5 stars on the look.

Seems sturdy and I like the looks of it but, the side drawer is too small for file folders which was what I intended to use it for. After assembly the useable space inside the larger drawer is only about 7-1/4" tall, 11-1/4" wide and 15" deep (front to back). Overall it's a fairly nice unit but not quite what I wanted. Recommend it? Depends on what you want it for.

I thought I had purchased a sturdy desk to support my work station however I have to reinforce it weekly as it disintegrates with the slightest movement of a drawer or it's bumped. It looks nice and expensive but is made of very poor grade materials. Do your research before making a purchase for this product, it's not worth the price or frustration.
