The price is a little bit higher than I'm happy with, but I like having the same quality and taste as the original Bisquick - but healthier. I mainly use it for biscuits and pancakes. The bag inside the box is a bit much to open, but that's what Ziploc bags are for.
You wouldn't think pancake mix would be good for other baked goods, but surprise it is. I love it for making Blueberry muffins. They come out tasty and just the right consistency and I use Smart Balance Cholesterol Free to make them moist. Try it you may find you like it.
Great for all your cooking needs good item to have in your pantry You can use it to bread your chicken or any other type of meat or to make pancakes and waffles pretty much with ingredients that you have and you can get creative
This product just has fresher taste and lighter texture than others. I notice the difference mostly with pancakes and biscuits. Unfortunately this product is more expensive than most others. I use other brands for waffles.
I have been using this bisquick pancake mix for 4 years or more and I always enjoy it, love the taste, texture and flavor once I add blueberry. Never had to use sugar or syrup. Perfect with my fresh fruit toppings.
My favorite use: Fruit cobbler topping made with no-sugar cherry (or apple) pie filling from Walmart. Mixes easily. Tasty pancakes, too. Great flavor. Long shelf life. Yum, Yum. And no Cholesterol makes this a great choice for everyone.
This is a simple pancake breakfast to make by adding a shredded golden delicious apple an a few tablespoons of cinnamon for apple cinnamon pancakes, which is a family favorite. There are always leftovers for a quick breakfast to heat up during the week.
I only buy the reduced fat version of this product. I substitute it in any recipe that calls for the original version of Bisquick mix, without adjusting any measurements or other ingredients. You cannot tell the difference at all. So why not make an easy swap and eat a little healthier without really giving up any flavor!
I like the product very much and have used it for years. The way Walmart delivered it and the fact that 2 of the 4 boxes I had ordered were expired when I received them was a. Mess!!! The person who delivered them never notified Walmart that it had been delivered so when I drove to 2 different Walmarts to return the expired ones they wouldn’t let me because the driver never notified Walmart that it had been delivered until more than 2 hours after!!! Ridiculous!!!!
This is slightly "heart-healthier" than regular Bisquick, but it falls short in 2 major areas. (1) It has sugar in it--a lot; should not have sugar in a biscuit mix! You can add sugar for pancakes, but you can't remove sugar when making things that should not be sweet! (2) Zero fiber; this should be made with at least some whole wheat flour since it's marketed as a Heart Smart, healthier alternative. I used to be able to buy a whole grain all purpose baking mix, but since that company was sold and quit making it, I've been desperately trying to find an alternative for quick biscuits. I make great homemade whole wheat biscuits, but that takes a long time.
