Prego Traditional Lower Sodium Pasta Sauce, 23.5 oz Jar

I'm a very harsh critic when choosing to write a review. This is the ONLY product out of 550 products i believe to have given 5 stars for each. I very much appreciate the lesser sodium (my pref) as someone who has hypertension, high blood pressure, is morbidly obese and pushing 50 in a couple of years. I often try to eat healthier and love chicken or pasta the most. Sometimes intertwined 😆. Thanks for perfecting the marinara sauce. it's not really watery as store brands seem to be when costs are dropped. You have a customer for life as long as this product doesn't change much.

I was making my own pasta sauce. I watch my sodium intake daily. Using fresh tomatoes for the past sauce got old for me. they make a dry pasta sauce pack add to a can of tomato paste. I prefered to use a can of tomato sauce. I learned that Prego low sodium has less sodium that the way I was making it. I can enjoy the Prego low sodium guilt free.

There are so few low sodium products, I was thrilled to see this and have bought it many times. Taste great! Yes, you can tell it's lower sodium, but when you have a heart problem with high blood pressure, you have to lower your sodium intake.

Prego lower sodium pasta sauce is my go to sauce since I'm on a low sodium diet. and I love my pasta. Walmart has the best price and it's always in stock. Thank You Walmart and Prego.

My husband has high blood pressure and needs to watch his sodium level. We love spaghetti as it is a quick and simple meal, so the low sodium spaghetti sauce really helps. Prego is also the best flavored sauce that we have found.

Perfect for keeping to my low salt diet. Full flavor and nice chunks of tomato. I use it as sauce for other dishes besides just pasta. Great over baked zucchini or eggplant with some panko bred crumb topping.

I like this. I like that it's a little lower and sodium then other varieties. Taste great with some sautéed onions, peppers, squash, mushrooms. Sometimes I add meat sometimes I don't top with a little cheese.

Our family chooses healthy foods for purchase and this Prego Heart Smart Traditional Italian Sauce is one of those! It is quite tasty to the pallet, part of our healthy diet foods and brings sounds of enjoyment at our dinner table. Here's hoping Prego continues to market "Heart Healthy" products. Thank You! I cannot compare this Pasta Sauce to a different one, because even if I bought a different pasta sauce sometime in the past, I do not remember which one that was. For a long time, I have been buying this pasta sauce. It has a good (in my opinion) taste, and it also contains less salt. Well, maybe one day I will decide to try, for comparison, a different pasta sauce, but maybe not.

Normally I would give this a 4 or 5 star review, but the expiration date came up before we could use it. Granted, we buy items like this a couple of months in advance, but it expired within 2 months of purchase. Someone needs to do a better job of checking the stock.
