Barilla Protein+ Spaghetti Pasta, Plant Based Pasta, 14.5oz

Very impressed with this protein plant based pasta! I have tried other plant based pastas, and they are ok.- this Barilla pasta is delicious. I would never know it's not traditional pasta! And my husband doesn't know either ( and I'm not going to tell him because then he'll probably be fussy about it because it's different. He loves it too,, and I appreciate that it's plant based. This also is not soggy or overly starchy

Same taste and mouthfeel of regular pasta. I love that it has protein and fiber to fill me up faster and longer. I wish it came in more shapes as I'm not a fan of penne.

You cannot taste a difference in this pasta. I have a very heightened sense of smell and taste and I'm telling you this stuff passes the test. This is all the pasta I plan on buying from now on so they better not discontinue it Ha Ha

I've tried other types of pasta that are supposed to be healthier than regular pasta, but I didn't like them. With Barilla Protein plant-based pasta, there is no noticeable difference in taste or texture. I'm totally pleased and won't go back to regular pasta.

I highly recommend this product, it tastes as good if not better than any spaghetti I've ever had, the texture is great as well. I think it cooks a lot easier than traditional pasta and it is about 50% healthier for you. This brand is an easy yes for me.

my picky 7 yr old loves protein pasta with sea salt, no sauce or meat just plain with salt. So thankful this is made! keeps him healthy bc he is a chicken nuggets and french frie Doritos kid even tho his father and I eat very healthy ( give or take sweets of course lol) and lots of organic foods he is just the opposite, so makes me feel good feeding him something healthier) non greesy

Such a gem! This is the ONLY protein pasta I've had that is genuinely indistinguishable from normal pasta. No protein-y aftertaste, no gritty texture, just good pasta. It makes hitting my protein goals much easier without having to give up one of my favorite foods.

Great option to add some additional protein to a meal. My family doesn't even realize they're eating protein pasta. It's great for pasta with sauce or cold pasta salad. I also add cooked pasta to my garden salad for the extra carbs and protein, And If you have an autistic child who is a picky eater, this spaghetti pasta is good for them. My daughter, who is a picky eater, really likes these pasta noodles. She loves these pasta noodles, and it's great too because they contain protein.

If you are unable to eat regular pasta (like me) due to the carbs, I guess this a somewhat passable substitute. Best to really load it up with tasty marinara sauce, though; it doesn't work otherwise. The flavor and texture just aren't there. In fact, it has kind of a bland undertaste, true of the penne, too.

The texture is weird, it doesn't have that kind of noodle texture but it's like strings of jelly trying to imitate real spaghetti. Also, the strands are thinner that regular spaghetti. It's okay, and I made a different dish with them, which involved boiling then frying in olive oil, which makes them more consumable, otherwise, I'd have to force myself to eat it.
