This is the only product that works on fire ants in hours not weeks.
Great
Living in Texas and anywhere there's a fire ant problem you need something that you can count on to do what it is supposed to do, Bayer fire ant killer really works. With in a few hours you will see results with Bayer, it does'nt take alot on each mound either AND you don't have to go back for a 2nd. or 3rd. time, just sprinkle some on the mound and that's it, no water needed on the mound you're done. This is the only fire ant killer that I've used since it came out several years ago here in Texas, when you find a product that works there's no need to look for anything else.
After using numerous products that claimed that they would kill fire ants fast ,they all failed . I belive that Bayer does the job that it claims . I use this product because it kills the nest within 24 hours and I would highly recommend this product to anyone with fire ant problems.
Wal Mart needs to keep this in stock year round in East Texas. This is truly the best product in the business and you can literally watch the ants curl up and die as soon as you apply it. This is by far the best buy for your money hands down!
This stuff works great, just as advertised. But I don't know why they say to pour a whole gallon of water on the mound...Seems like overkill (no pun intended 🙂). I just use maybe a cup or two and sprinkle it over the mound until the surface is wet. Doing it that way hasn't failed me yet. When I check the mounds after about 5-6 days, the ants are all gone. It probably works quicker than that, but I've never checked any sooner. Not sure why another reviewer called this stuff Amdro... That might work well too, but this stuff is not made by Amdro. Bioadvanced is the brand name.
kills fire ants
I have tried many Fire Ant Killers and still have had a fire ant problem. After using this product I am down to finding only 1 or 2, if any, ant hills when I check my yard. This product works better than any of the others. I think I have tried almost all of the rest from the inexpensive to the very expensive. I would definitely recommend Bayer Fire Ant Killer Dust to anyone with a fire ant problem!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BioAdvanced Fire Ant Killer Dust is an excellent product for eliminating fire ants in your yard. I sprinkled the recommended amount on a few mounds and the ants were gone within a few hours and mounds were gone within a few days. I highly recommend this product and look forward to using it in the future.
I previously held this product in esteem for a few years....however, the last three containers are not as effective or the ants have evolved to become resistant. In the past, a small amount would kill numerous ants on every hill and you might have to treat a popup hill nearby. The last containers that I have used do NOT cover the mound with dead ants and I find myself daily retreating popup mounds as they move around to new sites. There seems to be no end to chasing them around...my only hope is that they die from having to create new mounds daily. I will call Bayer tomorrow to find out if they possibly produced an inferior batch. A few years ago, I found this product at the orange big box store -- it was discontinued in about 2 years, possibly because it was so effective that the sale of other products ceased.
