Bird-X Plastic Bird Deterrent Spikes, 10ft Kit with adhesive (SP-10-NR)

I purchased this as a humane option for keeping small birds off the columns on my front porch. Very easy to install and seems to be keeping the birds away. Very easy to install and seems to be keeping the birds away.

We put small sections of this product on the top of the poles over our pool where we attach the sun sails. The glue provided is almost an instant glue - very effective. The sections of spikes are easily cut to size. Also added a section to a piece of wood and that remains on the top rung of the pool ladder - along with the Irri Tape we have had no doves settling on or around the pool. Very effective product.

The birds would (knowingly) perch on the rafters in my carport and AIMED for my car! After all the spikes where in place (screwed not glued) I felt like I had taken the very purpose away from the used to be happy birds. And I slept well. ANGRY BIRDS? Oh yea.

I bought these to replace inverted carpet tacks which were no longer deterring pigeons from nesting. Installation was very easy: cut lengths with a hand saw, used the provided adhesive and tacked in place as an extra precaution. Pigeons have not come back. Some sparrows have begun singing from the ledges where I left about a half inch but none have set up a nest. Couldn't be happier with the product or the Walmart price and service. Note, the surfaces of my home are stucco so I gave a good water and bleach scrub and allowed it to dry before applying the adhesive. The other comments (and my desire not to be up on a ladder re doing this) led me to add the mechanical fasteners as well.

I mounted the spikes above my front door. The spikes filled in the space I needed so the birds could not land, let alone build a nest. They were an inexpensive and simple way to solve the problem.

Easy to install and set up. I have birds that are constantly getting under my covered firewood rack, and also trying to build nests on the top of the posts under the covered patio and the postson my front porch. I am anxious to see how well they work. I am hoping as nothing else has worked.

This is a very good product, installing easily on a variety of surfaces to keep away birds (especially pidgeons/flying rats!!!). I glue them in double rows to thin 8" x 4" x 1" brick pavers and can place the spikes virtually anywhere - under eves, on window ledges, along walls & block fence tops. I used liquid nails adhesive instead of the product included, trying it several times with it seeming to take forever to set (longer than 8 hours). I threw it away. I painted them the same color as my stucco house and from a distance they seem to blend in and disappear.
