Fantastic for tile and hardwood floors

MManpics January 21, 2026

This machine does a great job on my tile and wood floors. Nothing before cleans like this machine. The sanitizing cleaning solution leaves the floors shining and not sticky at all. Pro Tip: the dirty water tank doesn’t hold as much as its size leads you to believe, so listen for the change in noise. When it gets high pitched the float in the dirty water tank had stopped the suction creating the high pitched noise. The self cleaning of the brush is very effective. You just place in the stand and hit the button. It cleans the brush. Then you empty and rinse the dirty water tank checking the filter. I place them in the window on a paper towel to dry.

Cleaning solution - less is best

Julia February 5, 2026

This mop works much better than I gave it credit for. However, you need to use about a quarter of the cleaning solution they suggest. The warm water literally does magic all on its own.

One of the best gifts I ever gave to myself as a home maker! So easy to use and clean up after! My floors look absolutely amazing and worth every penny.

Surprised and Relieved

JUDY February 18, 2026

This machine does what it says it will do., and it is easy to.use. My floors have never been cleaner. I use it on laminate and hardwood. Love it. I'm not sure if the clean cycle light is supposed to stay on afterwards or not. Going to look in the book and check that out.

Why did I wait so long to get this?!

Kayla May 1, 2026

100% recommend. We have 3 large dogs and almost all wood/laminate flooring so if I’m not vacuuming and mopping every other day the floors look horrible. This cut my cleaning time in half if not more. It’s a bit smaller than I thought it would be but honestly that is preferred for storage. I didn’t go super slow but the floors look great and even though the tank looks small I was able to finish and still have enough for the cleaning cycle. I JUST vacuumed and mopped 2 days ago and the water was still this gross. The mop head spins well and kind of pulls it along and the suction is strong. Floors were dry within a couple minutes and very minimal streaking. No clogging even with a large amount of dog hair. Some people complained of it smelling but if you’re taking it apart and actually letting it air dry I don’t foresee smell being an issue. It’s very simple to initially set up and take apart for cleaning. This is a god send!

Zen like with Bissell clean floors.

MomsDaughter May 5, 2026

Absolutely fabulous; game changer. I have all tile flooring and pets that make messes. This Bissell hard floor cleaner gives the floor a nice clean shine in no time. I like that the cord is long enough to get to multiple rooms without having a short length hinderance. The swivel feature is a plus. I have been previously using the traditional mop and bucket system which does not clean as sanitary or as fast as this Bissell product. I like the self cleaning option after your done mopping to keep the brush clean but I also like that the brush can easily be removed and put back in place for extra cleaning.

Exceeded my expectations.

1cookielady April 13, 2026

I’ve been vacuuming 4 bathrooms, the kitchen, laundry room and the entrance way. After I vacuum I use the steam floor mop. It dawned on me recently that I was doing double work. I knew that there are two in one floor cleaners but it never crossed my mind to get one. I decided to search for one to make life easier for me. There are so many out there and it got confusing, which one do I buy? I’m looking for one that fit my budget first. I had to make a little spreadsheet this was helpful because the choices for me were more limited price wise. Next I compared the features. I eventually decided on the Bissell Crosswave Hard Floor cleaner. It was delivered in a Walmart plastic bag that wasn’t even the right size. I don’t understand why they don’t ship the floor cleaner in a cardboard box to protect it from getting damaged. This is a problem I have with how my orders are delivered. I do all my shopping on line and most of them are for gifts. I finally had time to open the floor cleaner. It was so easy to put together. It only took a few minutes. The cord is nice and long. The roller is made of a very soft plush material. It feels very nice. It also came with a tray for cleaning the roller when I’m done cleaning and a small bottle of cleaning fluid. The floor cleaner has a filter. I filled the reservoir with water up to the designated line and added the cleaning fluid. I tested the cleaner in the kitchen first. I was surprised at how great the suction was vacuuming. I expected a lot of water to dispense but it didn’t do that. The cleaner dispensed just the right amount of liquid to clean and suck up at the same time. It cleaned the edges next to the cabinets and was even more impressive. It did a better job than some vacuums I’ve had. I love vacuums and I have used several different makes and models in the past and present. After the kitchen I cleaned the four bathrooms. It was so nice not to vacuum first then go downstairs to the laundry room to get the steamer. This made cleaning so much easier. I still have the laundry room and entrance way to clean. I did have to refill the reservoir once. I took out the filter to see how hard it is to clean. I can tell you , took quite a while to use a very small brush to clean in between each section of the filter. You can’t just rinse off the debris. I have to say this is con so I’m not looking forward to this part when I’m done cleaning. I do like the wet/dry floor cleaner. This make and model exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Bissell Cross Wave floor cleaner. I did read reviews before I made my decision. There were several negative reviews but I decided to take a chance taking in to account that the price was within my budget. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Almost Great

Jewel August 1, 2025

This vacuum has strong suction and I love the self leaning mode. However, it is only for hard surfaces and that is fine except it is self propelled and it’s sometimes hard to control. You don’t really need self propelled for hard surfaces and if you have any muscular weaknesses or arthritis, I would not recommend this machine. Its pull is too forceful. Also, it does clean by the edge of the wall; there is about a 1 1/2”-2” space that doesn’t get cleaned. Another thing I don’t like is that you can’t control the water usage. It doesn’t let out a lot of water at a time but it is constant. The best thing about this vacuum is the string suction and the self cleaning mode…and the mop portion does work well.

Works pretty well

Tammi May 13, 2026

Works well on surface and most of the medium crevices on my floor. The dirty water that settles back into the deep crevices isn't absorbed. I'm still happy with it. I took a picture of the dirty water it picked up AFTER I washed it with my old stream mop.

Do not waste your money on this!

Jennifer May 25, 2026

I feel like I wasted my money. All it did was leak dirty water all over the floor and push dirt around. It flooded out on my wood floors and I had to spend over an hour getting on my hands and knees to get all the dirty water and piles of dirt off my floor. Biggest waste of money ever! Cheap plastic piece of junk.
