I like this toaster. Followed the instructions. Toasted on borh sides evenly, also did good with bagels. Love that it has bagel settings. I'm satisfied
This is a great toaster. I love it. It’s basic but it looks nice. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and all of the features work. Goes well with my black stainless steel kitchen. It’s a fancy toaster to me. All the settings work and it has a nice spingy handle. Hoping this last for a while.
Tried another one to save a few dollars but not as good as this one. Returned it and got this one because it works great. Can toast bread or bagels, fresh or frozen. And if you need to there's a pop up button. Adjust degree of toasting to whatever you like. It's good quality at a good price.
Good toaster. Looks nice. Does the job it was intended to do.
This is a nice toaster. Analog dial that stays where you left it unlike the digital ones that always reset back to 4. My only gripe with it is the bagel button doesn't turn one side of the elements off so it's basically just for show and does nothing. The same could be said about the frozen button, appears to do nothing and only be for show. My only guess is it slightly adjusts the timing but for bagel that doesn't really matter. Those 2 don't really matter to me though because I don't use either of them. The main function of the toaster and the time dial work and that's all I care about. Also has a cancel button. Overall I would recommend this toaster, it's all metal unlike the cheaper ones that are plastic.
The looks are good and it worked well for a couple of weeks. Bagel function worked for about 6 bagels and then would not turn off outside elements when Bagel button pushed and lit. After a few more uses, even toast got very light. When you have been married nearly 45 years, when Momma can't get her bagel toasted, she is not happy. Remember, happy wife, happy life. We had the HB toaster for several years and only complaint was button placement on bottom. Not that consistent on browning at same setting but worked until elements got weak. See they put buttons on side now. Ratings not as good but it is a $20 toaster.
Both sides of the bread do not toast the same. If one side is perfect, the other side is too well done. Other than that, which for me is a big deal, the toaster would be great.
New toaster seems to be stuck in bagel mode. One side of bread is always darker than the other side. Timer also seems to have a will of its own. Will produce different levels of toasting on the same type/brand of bread. But what could you expect for $30. It does a marginal job if you watch it closely.
Honestly upset I tossed my other toaster before vetting this one! It always darker on one side… literally every time! My other toaster used to toast the same… only got this because of the color. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this toaster. The picture here is with a setting of 3. Imagine if I did the max lol this is the same bread in the picture as an example.
One star, but only b/c 0 stars is not a choice. I used it once. The fact that my bagel was burned, could be my fault since it was my first time using it. HOWEVER, when I tried to move the toaster to get access to my item, it burned the heck out of me. DO NOT BUY. PAY EXTRA FOR A "COOL TO THE TOUCH" toaster.
