Black & Decker BHDC201 1,500-Watt Personal Ceramic Heater

It's amazing. We are a family of 2 disabled parents, one of whome is home hospice, and a son 9 years old. In our place we have ceramic tiles and the floor gets cold in the winter. Hvac folks came to turn heater on but had to tell us it's a hazard ant can't be turned on. Bought this about a week prior. Works like a charm.

When I first opened the box and saw this little heater I thought it was not going to get warm enough. So I tried it out and I sure was wrong this heater is exactly what I wanted.

Great value and does a great job heating up an area/room/RV

Perfect for small areas or to use under a desk to keep your feet warm. Has a safety feature on it so if it get's knocked over or is off balance, it will cut off. Also has high and low thermostat settings that you can set for your own personal comfort.

We’ve had it for weeks now and so far so good. We use it for a bedroom and it does the job. It did come with a heavy toxic smell when you first take it out of the box which almost made me return it but I let it air out a bit and that did the trick.

Simple design. Extremely hot. Much more than other space heaters i've used in the past. Not recommended for small spaces and dries all the moisture in the air. May be more suitable to open concept areas.

I purchased it for my legs while I work because my feet are always too cold. It heats up super fast and delivers a great amount of heat, but I am disappointed about how noisy it is! It disturbs my concentration while working and during calls.

Box arrive totally trashed and opened. Looked like it was run over by a mack truck. I really needed the heater as It was about to snow and my office is so cold. The heater it self was not damaged and worked well. The fact that someone would knowingly send a package in that condition is beyond me.

Returned it the same day and got a better heater. Not very powerful, I expected better from Black and Decker.
