Blackburn Comfort Bike Tire, 26" x 1.75"

I have a 25 year old bike with 25 year old tires. When one of the tires finally died, I did not want to spend too much for a replacement. When I found these tires, I decided to replace both and avoid any more issues. Buying two gave me free shipping and the tires arrived the next day. The flat roll packaging is a little different but the tires installed easily and work fine. I couldn't be more pleased.

I switched to this tire because my wife and I now only ride on paved trails. The difference in the smoothness of the ride is notable as is the ease of pedaling. I'd definitely recommend this tire over the knobby treads if one is sticking to paved bike trails. Quality is superb.

Remove the tire from its folded position in the shipping box and open it up to its user position and place it in the sun for 15 minutes. Put just enough air into the tube to almost inflate it. place one side of the tire on the rim using just your hands. Place the tube in position and then work the tire onto the rim using only your hands, ensuring that the tube is not pinched. The trick is to inflate the tube very lightly and squeeze the tire into the center of the rim with both hands all the way around both sides at once. You need no tools with this method and there is no chance of damaging the tube.

My Bike needed a new tire, so I ordered the Blackburn Comfort Tire. It fit perfectly, looks great, and rides like a new bike ! Best Bike Tire I've ever used ! Highly Recommend this Bike Tire. Next time I need a tire, I'll order another Blackburn with out hesitation

I haven't put a lot of miles on my new Blackburn tires and inner tubes, but so far so good. I love the tread design on these because it pushes rain away from the tire, but also allows very good grip in the snow. Plus very little rolling resistance for Street use on my old mountain bike. Tip: Since this is a flexible bead tire, it's a little trickier to install. My suggestion is to inflate the inner tube slightly, and then put one side of the tire up and over the rim. Then using 2 plastic tire irons (not sure if Walmart has these) begin to work the other side of the tire up and over the rim making sure the tube is pushed up into the tire. The last couple of inches are the trickiest but be patient and don't use sharp objects like screwdrivers instead of the plastic Tire irons. You will damage the tire and the bike tube and possibly your rim!

Well this tire is well worth the money. I waited quite sone time to review this tire to give an honest review. A bike tire is something that needs to be trusted if riding long distance. And this Bell tire is that. Seem to be a good quality material. Seem to ride smoothly on both the road and on bike trail. Was easy to put on the bike also. Nice look. Had no trouble with control in the rain. I lije the tire and will not hesitate to buy another. I recommend this tire.

This bike tire is made from high quality rubber. It was very easy to install. It seems to give a smoother ride with the neat tread pattern. Also has good traction. I will be purchasing another one definitely. My bike keeps getting flat tires even though I was replacing inner tubes. With this new tire and a new inner tube the tire has held up, no flats. Apparently my old tire was allowing it to be punctured. Highly recommend this tire

I'm no stranger to bikes, bike repair, or replacing tires and tubes. This was probably one of the single easiest upgrades to my 26” bike I've ever done. I went from knobby MTB tires to these and there was a definite improvement in distance and speed in relation to the effort expended. Seems to work better for winter as well. Definitely would recommend this upgrade for anyone who is used to knobby mountain bike tires.

Product seems fine, Walmart.com seems inept. They sent me the wrong tires--their mistake, not mine. I called the customer assistance number, after twenty minutes, I was told to dispose of the incorrect tires and that another set would be sent. An Email arrived telling me to return the wrong tires and nothing would be sent until the returned items were received. I was still chatting with the same person, who said to ignore the email. Two weeks later I got another Email telling me the same as the first. I called back. I was told that the return had processed. The next day, a single tire arrived instead of the two pack I had ordered. I called back. Once again I was told that the order would be resent when Walmart received the returned items. Luckily I had never "disposed" of the original wrong order, but now I didn't know which wrong order to return (the wrong two-pack, the wrong single pack?). I threw the wrong two pack into the box the wrong single tire came in and made a trip to Fedex. Way too many calls and interactions to never receive what I originally ordered.

This item was NOT in my pick-up order on Dec 4 2025. I chatted with the AI about a refund on or about 22 Dec 2025, but still I still have not gotten my refund.
