When your Mr. Coffee maker bites the dust, you look for a fresh cup. The Black and Decker model came out of the box ready to go, no instructions really needed. It's easy to grab a cup while the maker is still brewing without flooding the counter. Easy to clean and shuts itself off in two hours. Eureka, I have found it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Black and Decker 12 cup Programmable Coffeemaker comes in black/chrome design and has a glass carafe with flip lid, pull out basket for coffee brewing, water lines on side of machine to show how much water you have in the machine, and digital easy touch/easy to use and set buttons for programming your coffee run time as well as the clock. It looks great and brews a perfect pot of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a programmable coffee maker so I chose this Black and Decker one for it's features. Waking up to the smell of fresh coffee already made is heaven. I like that this fits perfectly under our kitchen counter cabinets. I can make anywhere from 1 to 12 cups of coffe when I want. The window on the side is visible so I can accurately measure out how much water for how many cups to brew. The basket is wasable and holds the round coffee filters. Setting the timer to program the coffee maker is simple and so is setting the time. The best thing I like is that the coffee stays hot for 2 hours since we get up at different times at least there is still hot coffee. I didn't like our other coffee maker since it turned off after 30 minutes. My husband gets up first so when I get up an hour later I can have a hot cup of coffee too. I don't know why I waited so long for this convenience.

It's a learning curve but overall it's good. Removing and putting the carafe back is awkward. The spring on the basket seems too long? Design issue I feel. I expected more from B%26D.

I'm sorry to say this is a very cheaply made coffee pot. The area where you put the coffee into doesn't even sit right when the coffee pot is under it. I regret not saving the box. That's what I get for trying to save a few dollars.

The charge doesn't fit in dishwasher because our dishwasher has 3 racks so either lid not removal have to handwashing instead I need charge with removable lid like all the rest I have had

I love the coffee maker but would never had bought it if I knew the pot is so hard to get out , the rim plate it sits in is too deep u have to almost pry the pot out to pour a cup of coffee, resulting in lots of spills !

I had this exact model several years ago and was happy it was available again, and that's where it ends. it functions nothing like my previous one. I should have believed the reviews stating two issues. It's correct that the lid is extremely hard to open. It's also correct and a deal-breaker for me that the carafe is wedged so tight under the brew basket that you literally have to hold the bottom of the coffee maker to pull it out. Same with putting it back in. I only ran water through it but I did do 12 cups and coffee literally sloshed out when the carafe finally released itself from under the brew basket! The design is good the water fill is really easy to see and the price is hard to beat. But I'm still taking it back because I can't deal with those two issues especially the carafe being wedged so tight under the brew basket. I'm going to go with the one I have right now which is the Hamilton Beach. I like it very much the only thing that I don't care for is the clock is not illuminated and a bit hard to read, and the water fill is on the side and also a little hard to read. But I really like everything else about it and have been very satisfied with it so I will reorder that one.

I was looking for a coffee maker in white, and to come online to find one. I absolutely love this Black and Decker coffee maker. Easy to work and love that it can be programed. Super-fast delivery. Highly recommend!

price is excellent. The device to hold the coffee grounds does not allow the coffee pot to be taken in and out of the coffee maker. It sticks. The 12 cup mark on the water level is difficult to see, sometimes adding too much water, and possible leakage. Brewed coffee tastes good.
