I have had my last trusty DustBuster for awhile but it didn't have attachments to get in small places. The things that I like best about this BLACK+DECKER HLVA315J62 Dustbuster Lithium Ion Hand Vacuum, Slate Blue are: No cord to confine you going area to area It's very powerful It's light Nice color Easy to open to dispose of dirt collected Charge when runs out No cons at all, they've thought of everything designing it and it's everything I could ask for from a hand held mini vac!

Through the years I have owned several dustbusters, some better than others. This dustbuster is very lightweight and I was surprised at how powerful it was when I first tried it. It does a great job and the mounting plate that comes with it made it very easy to store and still be readily available to use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick way to clean up small spills.

The dustbuster had a charge when I received it. The instruction stated the unit should be charged for about 16 hours initially. Then put it back on the charger after each use. After I ran down the initial charge it came with, I charged it again. A light glowed on top of the unit while it was charging and the light went off when the charge was complete. I did not install the wall mount to hang/store the unit. The dustbuster was light weight and easy to manage with one hand. The dustbuster seemed to have a strong suction. I used it with the flip down brush attachment on a tile floor with “wood-look” grooves and a lot of dust. The brush was effective in getting into the tile grooves and grout lines. I like the brush attachment and that it is permanently attached to the nozzle. The canister is fairly large and is clear so I could tell when I needed to empty it. The filter was easy to remove and clean. The trade-off for having a clear canister is it looks dirty/dusty if I just empty it and don't actually wash/rinse it out after each use. I saw no safety issues with the unit. Overall, the dustbuster seems to be high quality, large capacity, and easy to use.

This new design in hand held vacuums is truly a game changer. Black+Decker has a true winner here. It is border line sexy! Sort of like that other vacuum cleaner company! There is nothing to put together...ready to use right out of the box other than there is a 16 hour delay before use for completely charging the Lithium Ion battery. But the question is...is it powerful, good suction and easy to clean...YES to all of those. More than enough power when you need to clean up small jobs around the house or garage. It also has a built in brush that simply flips forward so you have the option of additional suction. This is a much better design than previous versions...marked improvement in hand held units...I love it. It also comes with an attachment that allows you to store it from a wall. I was skeptical but once I used it, I was a believer...you will not be disappointed with this purchase...it has it all, function and esthetic design.

Black and Decker has finally made a dustbuster that incorporates all the best features of past models. It comes with a very powerful motor charged by a top of the line lithium ion battery. It has a very long run time. It is easily charged with a simple plug-in on top of the unit. Even more convenient is the wall mounted hanger that holds the plug end of the cord so that once hung up, charging is very easy. The vacuum itself is very light weight and has a handle that makes it well balanced. The on/off switch is positioned under your thumb and is easy to work. In front of the switch is the dust bowl release button. When it is time to empty the visible dirt collector just hit the button and the collector comes right out. Turn it upside down and dump it out. The manual says the filter can be washed out in warm soapy water if you choose. The vacuum has a long narrow nozzle that easily fits into tight and small spaces and can be extended another 4 1/2 inches by putting on the spout. There is also a brush that fits into the space over the end of the spout. This is one of the best dustbusters I have owned and it comes with a 2 year warranty. Definitely one to buy.

I chose this small hand vac because I live with several cats and must deal with scattered cat litter every day! This little vac does just what I needed it to do. It has really good suction and gets that cat litter quick as could be without scattering it everywhere! Easy to use, lightweight, easy to clean, simple to charge using the included wall bracket support. It's small enough to leave plugged in at the wall for charging without it being in the way. Best thing is the cats have not even noticed it there. It's also great for quick pick ups of crumbs, dust, cat hair or lint from the furniture using the little brush that flips up. Using the “pull out” crevice tool makes a tough job simple with catching all that dust that builds up around the edges of the baseboards. Looking forward to getting a long time service with this one . My husband always highly praised any tool from Black & Decker. So far it is living up to my expectations just fine. This Black & Decker hand vac (Dust Buster) is by far the most powerful, hand vac that Black & Decker has ever made. Not only is it powerful but it holds a charge for a Long time, unlike the older versions of the “Dust Buster”. The older ones would only last a few minutes and then go dead. This new one holds a charge for days of use. (Depending on how many quick pick-ups you do.)But it out lasts the older models by a very long time. It has a washable filter, an easy to empty dustbin, flip up brush, and can be wall mounted. Also has a charging lite which a lot of models do not have. I love this vac. Use it every day!

This ultra modern version of a classic is, hands down, the coolest looking most powerful handheld dust bunny destroyer I've ever had the pleasure of point, aim and click eradication. This dustbuster is stylish, almost futuristic in it's look, but packs more power and holds more dust particles than it's predecessors. Nearly a pound of debris is what this monster holds. Some of the major hi lights and bonuses are that it is equipped with an ion lithium battery which lasts for hours and lets you know when it's charging or when it's completely charged and an innovative feature of an indication light when it needs to be recharged. Another cool feature is the on board accessories which eliminate the problem of attaching, detaching or remembering where you've placed said attachments. What's more, the dust bin detaches for dust free hands when emptying the bin. That is a major plus. The filter and pre filter are washable and for even more added value, this sweet number comes with a wall mount which not only comes in handy, but, is very cool. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for a quicker picker upper.

The Black and Decker Dust Buster model HLVA315J62 Has A 10.8 Volt Lithium battery and a two year warranty. It weighs in at a very manageable 2.4 pounds. It's 16" closed and 21" extended. It's equipped with a built in flip up brush, battery charger and wall hanger bracket. There's a fair amount of suction power and the noise level is as expected. I used it to vacuum out my Jeep and it did a good job. The cup is clear plastic and removes with one button and allows easy access to the washable filter. A good value at Walmart.

I bought this to vacuum the interior of the car and it was just mediocre and doesn't work on carpet at all! It just pushes the debris around. Tons of sand and dust and long fibers left as shown in the photo. After going through with multiple passes my car looked no better than if I had used those free vacuums at car washes which was what I was doing before but felt the suction wasn't strong enough and the nozzle was too thick to get into crevices. The crevice feature was a big selling point for me but it just doesn't have enough power and also if you use just a little pressure it will slide back up. For the same result I'd rather continue to use the free vacuums than buy a mediocre one. It did pick up debris off a hard surface when I tried in it the house so if you only use for hard surfaces it will probably be fine but for carpet I would not recommend at all.
