BLACK+DECKER LCC140 40V MAX* Lithium-Ion Cordless String Trimmer & Sweeper Combo Kit

I got this combo more for the trimmer than the blower. The power of the trimmer is just enough for someone like myself. The blower could use more power but again, I got this mainly for the trimmer.

Happy with this set, love having an indicator on the battery. the power vs. battery life settings are great too. auto feed line trimmer is smooth and hassle-free. I almost need a second battery but I have a big yard.

I've always done my suburban house yard work but in my late 60's I notice I am not as strong as previous years. Gas powered equipment has become too heavy for me. I have had the combo Li battery pack for over 3 yrs now and LOVE it. 40v is long -lived to allow me to trim and then blow the mower, sidewalks & driveway clean. Neck & shoulder strain is minimal. I recommend this for any older people, especially females.

I've had Black and Decker products all my life . The LCC140 40V MAX* Lithium String Trimmer + Sweeper Combo Kit I purchased to replace a 36 volt Black and Decker String trimmer still operating excellently, that I gave to my daughter in need is a great product . My combo kit has exceeded my expectations in operation and battery charge times. I'm very happy with the lightweight and easy to use features , like variable speeds , auto feed trimmer string and such. Easy pop in refills of auto feed spools , or you can feed in and spool your own string. The adjustable handle and length of the trimmer is just right.

I always allow my backyard to get ridiculously high during the winter months and regret it. I bought this combo and the only thing I can say is to buy another 40 volt battery. I'm 5 foot 4 average size woman and this thing is a breeze to work. By having 2 40 volt batteries you can continue the job without stopping to charge the battery

Have had mine for 3 summers now and have used it to do my whole small frount yard love this little thing champ like 5 power settings but usually for the grass I stay on 2 if let it get to high bump up some battery last well I do have extra batteries as have the blower and now have purshed the lawn mower as well hate going our for gas and these are lite weight. I am 63 years old and to cheep to pay for my lawn work so am trying to get things that allow me to do it my self, This is the way to go for me push a button and go.

The battery lasts long enough to trim my half acre yard and have 2/3 bars left. The sweeper works very, very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have a 40x100 property. The first time I used the products, I used the trimmer first and it worked well. Then I switched to the blower. Not only is the blower severely under-powered, but the battery doesn't even last long enough to finish blowing all the leaves. I ended up buying another battery just so I could do the entire yard at the same time, but the batteries are very expensive.

Nice buy for the combo. But you would much rather buy them separately because the string on the weed wacker was only enough to do the front yard(BARELY). Now we have to go replace the cutting cord ALREADY

trimmer came with a battery charger that takes 5 hours to charge the battery. thr string spools are impossible to put new string on. the blower is very whimpy. i looked up the prices for a fast charger, a second battery, and replacement string spools (3). the cost for all these items was about $150.00.
