I bought a cheap 3-in-1 waffle iron last year that worked for regular waffles, but not gluten-free egg-free. After finding out how well this waffle iron worked for a friend who also has to avoid gluten and eggs, I finally got one for myself. Each round of waffles is done in 5 minutes or less instead of 20 minutes with my cheap waffle iron! They don't stick and they're perfectly fluffy! If you need a waffle iron, this is the one!
The Black & Decker waffle Maker works great. It is easy to use and our kids love using the maker. We make some extra waffle for the next day. Everyone can join in and make their own waffles . It cleans up good . Just a wipe with a wet close and it is ready to good. Wish we would do bought this waffle maker years ago. I would recommend the Black & Decker Waffle maker to everyone. It makes breakfast fun.
Easy to use and although it doesn't beep when waffles are done, the green light comes on and you can hear a click. Waffles come out fluffy and delicious
We purchased our first Belgium Waffle Iron over 10 years ago. Granted, we only use it once a week. So when it "bit the dust" we knew we needed a new one. Thanks to Black and Decker, our new one arrived and is being appreciated very much. It is the only way to make waffles.
This makes really good and yummy waffles. It is easy to use and it really doesn't stick. Waffles are a nice size and depth.
I love this product and the waffles come out perfectly cooked, and crispy. This is my second purchase of the same product after using the previous one for more than 7 years. The only thing I expect in terms of product improvement would be to make the locking last longer and easier, other than that I love the product.
Simple but works for the price. When cooking let it sit a little bit longer after the light comes on that says it's cooked
Easy to use except a few things. The handle folds in which is great for storing, but when using it tends to flip in and out as you are turning the waffles over. I wish it would lock into place when in use. I also wish it came with a measuring cup for the batter. It calls for 3/4 cup which for some reason is hard to find. I use a one cup measure and some times over fill a bit. But it does cook the waffles nice and is easy to use.
The lid will not stay closed once your waffle begins to cook (we did not have too much batter in it either). The timer light didn't seem to work...it would just stay lit and we would have to guess when to flip it. On one of the waffles, after we flipped it, the lid still popped open while it was upside down b/c the locking mechanism wasn't strong enough to hold it closed. This caused a huge problem b/c you cannot flip the waffle back over into the upright position with the lid open and you cannot fully open the lid while it's upside down, so we had no way to get the waffle out of the machine. We had to unplug the waffle maker and use a fork to peel out the waffle (which was destroyed). After about 15 minutes of frustration, we were able to maneuver the machine back into the upright position. We allowed our children to prepare their own waffles with supervision (ages 9, 10, and 13), when they would go to close the lid, it always wanted to start flipping over, making the kids nearly spill their batter. Also, cleaning was a chore since the machine does not dissasemble. Everyone thought the waffles tasted great...just an impossible feat for the cook!!
I dislike this waffle maker because I used for only 3 times and it stop working. This was purchased less than 3 months old. Do not waste you money.
