Blackstone 1666 22" Tabletop Griddle Outdoor Grill, 22 inch, Black

I purchased this griddle as a Birthday present to my husband. I figured we could use it when we go on picnics and camping (not bulky and good sized to cook multiple items). My husband used it during our 4th of July celebration. He loved it. He kept gushing about it while he cooked. He mentioned about following directions before putting any food on the griddle - "season" it by applying oil with the heat on. The surface should turn darker in color. One concern he had was that the container for the oil drippings was a bit sharp (he cut himself). Overall, this is a great product. I just want to mention that I paired this griddle with the Cuisinart Griddle Set, which he also loved.

OH YEAH! THIS is how to cook when camping!! Season it per instructions, nothing sticks! Have cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, steak on this. Having the grease catch and adjustable legs for leveling are great features. Easy clean up too!

Cooking on a griddle is a new thing for me and I was concerned that I may not be able to figure it out easily with the seasoning involved and all but it's actually fairly simple to do as long as you're using the right products. Season it right with the Blackstone seasoning then be sure to cook with a high temp oil. Avocado oil seems to be the best. Happy cooking!

Great price, durable, great quality, and functional. Very WIDE cooking surface. Only negative is, it doesn't include a lid; picture is misleading. However, I bought a very nice lid on Amazon for only $54 which fits my 22" griddle perfectly. I highly recommend getting a stand with adjustable legs for the griddle so it feels more like a stand up grill. This grill is too nice to ruin outside so we bought a nice grill cover and some cooking accessories. Overall, I really love the look and functionality of this griddle. Feels like I'm cooking on a big grill.

This Blackstone is pictured with a hood. The hood doesn't actually come with it. I had to buy ours separately. False advertising on the part of Walmart.

very disappointed to find that this Blackstone doesn't come with a hood even though in the pictures it shows what does. otherwise this griddle is great!

I received a blackstone with no lid,as you can see by the photo and description there should be a lid. I called when it arrived and told them about the issue. They had me send back the one I received and they would ship the correct item with a lid. I received the replacement and wouldn't you know it, it's exactly like the first one I received with NO LID!!! This is ridiculous!!!

This is not a hit on Blackstone. Walmart advertises this grill as coming with a hood...the hood is pictured on website and also on the item's parts diagram. It does not come with hood. I have spoken with Walmart customer service and get the run around. Walmart is doing a bait and switch with this grill. Spent hours trying to talk to Walmart customer service supervisor.....UNSAT. I will be using Amazon.

Ordered new griddle that was delivered today, was clearly USED and rusted! Completely unacceptable, was for husbands birthday present. Not much of a gift when we now have to return it. Will be returning and finding another company to purchase a griddle from. Accessories packaging came smashed and in poor condition but at least they’re NEW as they were advertised, can’t speak the same for the griddle. Not only is the cast iron itself rusted, but also the stainless steel area around the knobs. Such a disappointment, take some pride in your products Blackstone!

Walmart is false advertising this Product. The listing shows it has a hood, and even list the hood with an item number in the second photo. Of course they will not rectify their mistake.
