Blackstone 1899 36' Griddle W/ Hood

After using a grill with a griddle insert for the last two years, I swapped it for a standalone 36 inch Blackstone griddle. Cleaning is also much easier. We will never go back to a regular grill. The griddle is more versatile for a variety of recipes.

Set up was very easy. The grill is very heavy though so you will need help lifting it. It comes pre seasoned, which I totally missed, so I seasoned it. Ha! I haven't cooked on it yet, so I can't rate that. I LOVE the stand for the propane tank and how the knobs feel on the handles (they're textured rubber). Great product so far!

We put our grill together this weekend, and we are so excited to use it! We love all of the accessories like the front shelf and built-in cutting board and the hooks to hang utensils. We haven't had a chance to use it yet because it was raining the rest of the weekend, but we can't wait!

I bought a second 36 inch Blackstone griddle because I wanted the one with the hood. I love my first 36 inch and had it for at least six years. It was still in great shape, but definitely one of the upgrade with the hood. Assembly was easy did it by myself with the exception of getting grid on top.

I have a tiny kitchen and the blackstone really makes it easy to cook for a large group but also convenient enough to cook for just me and my partner. We had our first full breakfast cooked perfectly this morning. The assembly was fairly simple but some of the directions or pictures could be more clear or enlarged. Otherwise 2 less than mechanically inclined people took less than 3 hours.

Love this grill. So glad I switched, the versatility for larger gatherings like we tend to have at our cottage is a game changer. I would highly recommend if you want to get more than one type of food done at once. Great for breakfast lunch and dinner. Or just everything really.

Couldn't beat the price for the product so I finally bought one after saying I was going to for 5+ years. The assembly was smooth with no issues except for the right shelf with the cutting board has a bad bracket on the shelf itself and will not seat properly but i will be contacting Blackstone for that shortly. Other than that it is in use and working great.

Love this grill! Got it at BJs before Memorial Day. It cooks like a dream, and very easy to clean up. Setup was easy, but only bummer was that two of the nuts were warped and wouldn't fit on properly. It wasn't enough to cause an issue, but other than that it works great. I've cooked on it almost exclusively for weeks now!

Building was easy, my frame arrived with a few scratches, which is why I did four stars, however as long as it works I do not mind them too much and the grill still works! I've cooked one meal on it so far and loved it - excited to experiment with all sorts of cooking over the summer.
