Blackstone 1899 36' Griddle W/ Hood

I thought I would struggle with this as I've never been a fan of gas outdoor equipment but this has changed my mind! Great piece of equipment and straightforward to set up and get ready for preparing BBQ. Just finished our first meal on the griddle for the whole family - 6 adults - and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food and how so much could be cooked at the same time. Brilliant piece of kit and so easy to clean afterwards. Looking forward to the next opportunity to use it.

Everything about this grill is perfect, but I wish adding the hinged hood wasn't so much more expensive. The hood would complete this, but it didn't seem worth the significant increase in price. I love the stow-away side tables, the paper towel holder is awesome, the storage underneath, propane hook, the dials are nice, easy to light… just amazing.

Just missing the hat, we love our grill, definitely getting used to using and cleaning and seasoning. We are looking forward to the cooler months, where we're not sweating using how in the hot summer months. My poor other grill is getting very jealous!

Give yourself an hour to get everything unboxed, grab a phillips (or flathead) screwdriver, hook up your propane tank, and you're cooking before the timer is up! Have everything prepped before you get started because you can cook on it as soon as it is assembled.

This grill has been great! My husband bought this for our large family BBQ's so he can cook everything at once, and then sit down to enjoy eating with everyone (he used to be at the grill the whole time, cooking in batches). The grill cooks food so well; takes some getting used to (need to keep wetting the griddle with water/oil). Easy to clean! We've been very happy with this purchase.

The frame was bent where the left rear griddle pin locks into place. However, the way the griddle is engineered to lock into place made this a non-issue. Very easy to assemble. It's raining so the we chose not to oil the griddle until the weather clears up. Looking forward to using it.

Tired of traditional grills that don't hold up. My Blackstone is way more versatile and built better. Looking forward to keeping this one for the duration. Plus all the cool bonus features like a paper towel rack, utensil magnet, and bottle opener! Love it!

Love this grill. So glad I switched, the versatility for larger gatherings like we tend to have at our cottage is a game changer. I would highly recommend if you want to get more than one type of food done at once. Great for breakfast lunch and dinner. Or just everything really.

We bought a tabletop 2 burner 3 years ago and like it so much it stayed at the lake and we got this 4 burner for at home. As I put it together I was impressed with the quality of materials fit and finish and design smartness. It's even nicer to work on a larger surface. Great products.

Set up was very easy. The grill is very heavy though so you will need help lifting it. It comes pre seasoned, which I totally missed, so I seasoned it. Ha! I haven't cooked on it yet, so I can't rate that. I LOVE the stand for the propane tank and how the knobs feel on the handles (they're textured rubber). Great product so far!
