Lodge 8" Round Cast Iron Grill Press

This was worth every penny. I now love frying bacon! This fits perfectly in the bottom of a 16" frying pan. It's heavy and you need a mitt to lift it when in use, but other than that it's absolutely great! I would buy it again and recommend it for anyone who fries bacon!

Perfect for making smash burgers on the blackstone. The meat never sticks to it. It works perfectly every time even the low-fat stuff.

This is a good quality iron grill press! I used parchment paper between the press and the burger meat just so there is less to clean as far as food debris. I cleaned the press with soapy water and dried with towel. No sign of rust on the item but when laid on my drying mat, there was rust residue. No harm no foul. What would you expect from an iron item, huh?! Haha Loved the way the smash burgers we made came out! Highly recommend getting a press :)

I just got a new Lodge Cast Iron Grill Press. Food always tastes better when using cast iron I guess because that is what I grew up with at my home. This Press is already seasoned for use this keeps it from rusting and it should last a lifetime. It is about 8 inches round. My first use was frying four hamburgers in a skillet by just pressing down on the meat with the press and leaving it on there to keep the grease splatter down. It can be used to keep your bacon flat so it fries faster and more even. It will be great for making my husband his favorite, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. This would be a perfect addition to your outdoor grill or even indoors in your kitchen. I like this product and would highly recommend it.

Delivery was great. But shopper needs to check the expiration date on items. My order had an expired dairy item that had expired 4 days earlier. This isn't the first time I have received an expired item or one that was expiring within a couple days. Some items are not expected to be consumed in a day or two.
