Totally worth it!

Schwammy June 23, 2025

We originally bought the 22” grill for camping but was so heavy still in the box. So got the 17” grill. Was perfect! Did the seasoning per instructions. This is great! Works for hash browns, eggs, pancakes and more. Small enough to carry. We ordered the carrying case also. Loved it! Highly recommend!

So fast - a game changer!

DaddyOh June 16, 2025

Perfect for a single person or camping. Add the hose for 20lb tanks and this thing is a daily cooker. I've been cooking on cast iron for past year and cooking on a griddle is a game changer! The griddle heats way quicker and even on low my cooking time is probably 1/3 a 1/4 the cooking time and cleanup is so much faster too! I can't wait for my upcoming 10 day camping trip with this bad boy- cooking and cleanup being so fast allows more time for exploring and chillin which is the whole reason I camp to begin with. This unit has made cooking an even faster and bigger joy!

A Griddle for all Seasons

WalmartCustomer June 29, 2025

It arrived the next day was well packaged and was easy to put together. It needed to be seasoned but after that the griddle is almost non stick. Clean-up with water towels , lite scrapping and a thin coat of oil is all that is needed. It should be covered if left outdoors. On a covered deck it can be used year round. ** A Good Buy!

A RV must for Blackstone

Marianne February 7, 2026

The Blackstone Adventure is the perfect size for our rig. Keep in mind that it is best for cooking for 2 people. If you have more it will work you just might have to cook in phases. But for my husband I, we can cook all our meat and veggies at the same time, we also can do a full breakfast for both of us as well. It cleans up easily, I do recommend the storage bag to keep it in good shape especially if you are going to camp with it.

Easy Cleanup

Steve November 12, 2025

Cooking surface is easy to clean after proper seasoning. I would prefer that the burner was more dispersed over the cooking area lake the larger Blackstone.

Perfect portable size

This is the perfect size to take camping. I also bought one for my mother and MIL for Christmas. I bought it at the perfect time and at a great price.

Small, compact griddle, and does cook well.

James January 1, 2026

I was made aware of this Blackstone Griddle through a facebook post and saw that it was on sale. I decided to try it out as it may be good to bring camping and also some cooking around the house. This is my first griddle and I have to say I am impressed at how easy it was to get started cooking with this thing. I thought the seasoning process would be difficult, but it was not that bad. After several cooks with it, I see some areas that could be improved. 1. The fit of the griddle itself to the burner housing is a little awkward and hard to lock in. 2. The small 1lb propane tanks are not quite enough if you use the griddle on high for a while. I am considering a 5lb tank and adapter hose soon. 3. The hard cover is useful for keeping the griddle clean and away from weather, but not sure how that will work when traveling to a campsite. 4. The igniter did not work straight out of the box and I had to use a lighter to get the flame started. (I eventually watched a YouTube video that helped me adjust the igniter spark rod and now it will ignite, but takes a couple of attempts.) Overall, I do like the griddle and would recommend it if you only need a small one. I may be upgrading to the 2 burner so I can adjust a cool side and hot side in the future. The single burner is good and does have some cooler spots in the front and 2 sides, but more area would be nice. For 2 people this is fine. It has done great with bacon and eggs, stir fry, and even some Philly Cheesesteaks. Happy griddling!

I got it all set up, ignitor didn't work. Just lit it with a piece of paper and it didn't get hot enough on the highest setting to even cook eggs. I would have never bought it for our camping trip had I known how terrible it was

SO POORLY DESIGNED YOU NEED TO RETROFIT THE UNIT

Albert March 29, 2024

This is so poorly designed that any breeze, even slight will prevent grill from getting hot enough to cook. The opening around the burner between the sides and the grill prevents heat from reaching the griddle surface. And you can actually get burned by putting your hand around the side of the unit due to the flame-heat coming out the sides rather than going to the griddle. In order to make this work properly you must by and aftermarket kit to magnetically clip onto the unit to keep the heat going to the griddle. Now that is plain stupid design by a well-known company. Avoid this unit and get a different brand that addresses this issue from the git-go.

Complete garbage. TWO regulators and TWO propane tanks later it only lights with a lighter and the flame is tiny and doesn't adjust at all. I've been trying to get this thing to work for two days not in preparation for power outage due to winter storm and it's useless. I e water every video I've called friends that have blackstones and they are also at a loss on what else to do. Returning when the winter storm is over. I will go back to charcoal never had a problem getting it to light.
