Blackstone Adventure Ready 2-Burner 28” Propane Griddle with Omnivore Griddle Plate

What an awesome griddle! It arrived with the box a bit banged up and I was very worried about the parts inside. Worries were put aside upon opening and assembly. Breakfast, burgers and stir fries have reached new levels! Seasoning the griddle and cleanups are easy and not cumbersome. I love it!

So far, we love this griddle. We have made breakfast, steaks, hamburgers among others. I took the time to properly season it. Love that I can cook potatoes, onions, etc. and they don't have a grate to fall through. Omelets turned out well for a first time. It is fairly simple to clean. It is well-made and sturdy.

My husband loves cooking meals for our family. He has been wanting a griddle for quite some time, so I decided to get him one. I went with Blackstone’s Adventure Ready 2-Burner 28" Griddle with Omni Plate because, I thought it would be the perfect size griddle for our family of five. While setting up and testing out the new griddle with my husband, we found things we disliked and liked about it. My husband disliked the instructions because, he found an error in them. The instructions stated that, an AA battery was needed for this griddle so, he spent a large amount of time looking for where to put the battery  but, an AA battery was not needed as it’s a self-igniting griddle.  My husband  likes the feature that the griddle is self-igniting.  Once he had the griddle setup he found it to be solid. Also, he finds it easy to use. I like how simple it is to maneuver when needed. But, we both love using it to make bacon and eggs for breakfast and tacos for dinner. If given the opportunity, we would recommend Blackstone’s Adventure Ready 2-Burner 28" Griddle with Omni Plate. It is a well-made griddle that, does a great job in cooking a variety of different meals for our family. 

This griddle is so fun to use, plus it keeps the mess outside! It was easy to assemble. I followed the instructions to season the top, but as you can see in the photos, the heat didn't quite extend to the end of the griddle. The not as seasoned part came in handy to keep the food warm while the other food was still cooking. The wheels make it very easy to move with an attached sturdy handle. Very well made! Love my griddle!

The grill is very easy to assemble. Once done you have to wash the grill and season it before use. Very simple to do. I love being able to cook breakfast on it without food falling through. You can have one side low and one side hot if you are cooking different things. It has two wheels and a study handle so moving it around is easy. This particular model does not come with a cover.

This Blackstone is amazing! This 28 inch size is perfect enough to feed my entire family. I really enjoyed the locking legs feature. Also, I like how this has to control burning areas so I can cook foods at two different temperatures. I am really enjoying all the accessories that Blackstone sells to go along with this griddle. Absolutely worth the money!

We have used this so much. We have done breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert on it and it was all fantastic. We have made burgers, steaks fajitas, french toast, and carmel corn just to name a few. It has all turned out so good and cleanup has been such a breeze. Can't recommend this enough.

Love the griddle. Shipped fast from Walmart and install took only a few minutes. However, removing the unnecessary giant sticker from the tray took 2 hours. 4 stars simply because of that. Nice feature on this model is ability to fold legs for easy transport. Follow seasoning process and be sure you have appropriate tools for scraping and flipping. You also may want to see what other reviewers say about wind protection. Keeping heat consistent on a breezy day can be a challenge.

After cooking a few steaks on this flat top, I have determined I much prefer the chargrill taste instead of the “seared” taste on this grill. Also, the grill cover is more difficult to use than just a lift up lid found on CharGrills. The cover captures the rain and it makes for a wet mess on my deck ever time I go to use it because I have to dump the standing water off the top. Just adds to too many steps to light and cook a steak or meal. Looks nice on my deck and it is quality built- I think I just prefer the closed gas chargrill better.

Its definitely the easiest grill to set up. It doesnt even take 30 minutes. I enjoy the griddle. You can cook several things at one time. Now the only downfall is that it will rust pretty quick. So be sure to have a grill cover or even a lid. Other than i enjoy this grill
