Blackstone E-Series Griddle, 17 Inch Single-Burner Electric Flat Top Grill with Hood, Black

This is by far one of the best decisions we've made. We've had large and small Blackstone rolled steel griddles and loved them. We've had propane barbecues also. We are getting older and no longer camping so we chose the Blackstone series e electric 17" with ceramic titanium surface. Couldn't be more pleased. Temperature regulated digital display, super easy clean up which results in using it more. More than enough space for eggs and bacon. Room for pancakes but I cooked separately. Sear chicken and a steak, grill veggies. All do well. Glass lid for short use, steam a bit for veggies or yolk of egg. Not recommended to cook with lid closed. Can't say enough!!!!

I am new to the black stone craze. I live in an apartment and cannot own a gas grill, so this electric option is wonderful for me. It took about a week to arrive. Setup was something a 5 year old could do. So far in 24 hours I’ve made a breakfast sandwich, hash-browns and jerk chicken legs. Everything has come out amazing. The chicken legs really developed a nice grill like char on them just as if I’d grilled them outside. I highly recommend this indoor grill to anyone even if you have an outdoor grill. No smoke and all the flavor of an outdoor grill. I’m a fan!

I am thrilled to have this griddle!! At 74, it is no longer easy for me to lug around those 20 lb. propane tanks, bags of charcoal or to be cooking outdoors in the middle of winter. This griddle can heat up to 500 degrees, be used from morning to night (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and used indoors/outdoors just by plugging into a 110 outlet. Pancakes, eggs, veggies, shrimp, grilled cheese, burgers, potatoes and steak...nothing falls through the grates...it's a flat-top!! Super non-stick and EZ clean up. Easy-peasy for singles

I love my E-griddle! A great addition to my Blackstone collection of products and much welcomed on cold days. It's the perfect size for the countertop, but I wish the lid was on a spring vs just open/close. It heats up really quickly and is super easy to clean.

This e-griddle is great. Ive only had it a week but have cooked on it everyday sometimes twice a day. Made steaks, chicken breast, breakfast sandwiches and more with absolutely no issues of anything sticking. Clean-up is so easy. Just push grease into drip pan and wipe off with a paper towel. The only issue I have but does not involve cooking is the name Blackstone on the handle is rubbing off after only a week. I have only used a wet paper towel to wipe it off. Not a big issue but still.

This grill works well. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 star was I was expecting it to have same cooking experience/results as traditional Blackstone. This grill is more smooth. Still cooks things well would just say it’s a bit bulky compared to typical electric skillet. I do really like that it has a cover to help with cooking times as well as keeping grease in when cooking bacon

Unit doesn't heat evenly or throughout the plate. Ingredients have to be in the absolute center in order to cook. Unit also clicks on and off so not consistent heat through cooking process.

Ruined my dinner party.... planned to do hibachi..... griddle never got over 300!degrees. Had to take the whole setup down and rush in to cook on the stove (as our guests waited). Very disappointed. The overall quality was not good.

The biggest problem with this grill is that it does not maintain heat when food is put on the grill. Almost everything needs to be cooked at the highest setting of 500 degrees. Food sizzles at first but the surface cools off quickly and cannot get the temperature back up to 500. The rear of the cooking surface isn't attached so cold items have caused it to bounce up. One of the hinge pins on the lid was stripped and doesn't stay threaded. Blackstone's customer service on the product has been poor. There are no parts in stock and they don't know when they'll have them. I've heard great things about Blackstone products, but that is not my experience with the e griddle. As far as positives, the cooking surface is a good non-stick surface. Pancakes or eggs don't stick, but they don't cook well since the surface cools off immediately when adding any food.

Delivery driver stole my package and said he delivered it. I have him on camera. Then talked to three different useless supervisors and in the end they said they will not do anything about it. They said to file a police report. I will never buy from Walmart online. I’ll stick with good old reliable Amazon. Rude and unprofessional “supervisors “. Should be fired.
