I would buy this griddle again

Harry March 5, 2026

I’m in an apartment so electric is the only option. But I’m happy with this griddle. Cooks well and easy enough to clean. The casters are good quality so it rolls easily when I want to move it. The cooking surface is big enough for 10 to 12 burgers (depending on size of course). Assembly wasn’t difficult, but one of the nuts was misaligned so one screw would not seat properly.

LOVE this blackstone. It's taller than i expected. And it does make a mess with the condensation on the lid. When you open the lid, the water just runs onto the floor. The grease catcher should have been made as long at the grill to catch that. But other than that, it works great and looks good!

Excellent Indoor Grill

Chris December 9, 2021

Don't listen to all those negative Nancy reviews that don't understand how indoor grills work. The grill works just fine as an indoor grill and yes the cooking zones drop in temp when a lot of food is on the grill, but that is expected on an indoor grill. I cooked 8 smash burgers, (used parchment paper and smashed them prior to putting them on the grill. The smash burgers came out great, just check my photos out. Nice crispy crust on both sides and tasted great. I had some Freddy's sauce I saved and put that on the buns, monteray jack cheese, ketchup, pickles and air fried fries on the side. Didn't have any tomatoes or onions so have to wait till next time. I cooked 7 smash burgers didn't have room for number 8 right away. The only downside I see with this grill is the surface is a bit too smooth, but that makes up for cleaning it up which was a breeze. The lid comes off and the cooking plate as well to wash in the sink as well as the greese tray removes for easy clean up. I can't wait to cook breakfast on it. Remember to pre-heat the grill to highest 500 degree temp on both sides whenever cooking a lot of food and don't try to hurry and take the food off before it is done. My burgers were 80/20 and fresh not frozen from my local Price Chopper grocery store and were delicious. Overall a pleasant experience with the grill. Getting the grill out the box was another store with all the tape and styrofoam and it came with a cart which I haven't put together yet.

Worked out after all

anonymous October 12, 2024

So I tested out what I thought was such a disaster choice of a Blackstone. I didn't realize I ordered an electric griddle, I thought I ordered propane. First off: I actually feel safer with electric vs propane. I know propane is safe but for me personally it would freak me out and take time for me to get used to. Second: the broken portion of the leg connector is a non-issue thankfully because it's as sturdy as plastic can be. The issue is that I could only return it instead of getting a replacement shelf from Walmart/Blackstone and was unable to speak to an actual person. I made burgers, a bit more well done than what we normally eat but that will take time to learn. Bacon fried up nice. Had lots of fun tonight. No power after a hurricane. All done off of a generator.

Does not last (non-stick ceramic titanium-coated)

Jason April 7, 2026

I have used this for around 4 or 5 months now. The nonstick surface does not last, my egg's, bacon, hamburgers everything is starting to stick around the middle of the cooking surface in the two hottest places. I have used ONLY silicone utensils and never metal utensils. It makes clean up very difficult, I can't use any abrasive cleaning fearing I will cause more damage to the cooking surface. I should have known better, and bought an Iron plate that can be seasoned to prevent non-sticking. The cost would have been around the same only without the cart.

Horrible instructions

Frank July 3, 2026

The grill is fine but the assembly instructions were the worst ever. Some screws like for the shelf fell back out after screwing in as hard as I could

Paid for the griddle but I received a garage Jack instead now having a hard time getting what I ordered. Make sure employees are paying attention to the orders before putting a printed out label/receipt on items maybe this will help with taking wrong items and giving them to drivers in the future. Pretty sure whoever received my order is happy and will just reorder their order again since it was only $98 and my order was$347.

Very very very disappointed

Adrian May 28, 2023

This electric griddle looks great but looks can be deceiving. It will not hold temp at all. Even with just hot dogs it struggles to get passed 325 degrees. I returned it the same day I used it. So disappointing. I was so excited when I bought it. I urge you to not buy this unless you want be very very very disappointed.

I got had

Daniel May 4, 2023

This unit is completely useless. No matter what temp setting you use is takes forever to heat up. Once ready as soon as you put food on it, it dies a quick death never recovering its heat. Even shrimp takes over an hour to get done. Stay away. Google "stovetop griddles" for a better option.
