Blackstone Original Outdoor Griddle, 28 Inch 2-Burner Flat Top Grill with Hood, Black

It was pretty easy to assemble other than one bolt had too much paint on it and was hard to get started. I did go to Blackstone and watch their video on how to season it and had questionable results. Its still new and I'm learning more about how it cooks. I love the attached lid as it keeps wind away and covers it after cooking.

I really like this unit. I don't often cook for large parties so 28" seemed right for my home use. I', glade they put good caster wheels on the stand and included two shelves as that was what I was looking for. Overall I think I will be very happy with this unit as I am with my 22" I use for camping.

The assembly was easy. It is heavy and not flimsy. Follow instructions to season the griddle. The 36" seemed like overkill and is quite expensive. The 28" is just a little smaller and all that you will use unless you are cooking for a huge crowd. I like the griddle a lot more than I thought and use it a lot more than I thought. Delivery was excellent.

Best "grill" purchase ever made. Blackstones are amazing, and this size was perfect for our family!! You can cook almost anything on it, and believe me we've tried, and it comes out amazing!! The only problem we ran into during assembly was one of the shelf screws was already stripped and we couldn't remove it enough to place the Shelf

Very easy to assemble. If you want a grill you can leave once you are done cooking, I would not recommend getting. You do have to give time and attention to prevent rust and keep clean, but the flavor is so much better. If you love to cook, this is a must!

Grill is easy to assemble. Easy to use. Hinged hood is a must. Locking wheels are important to have. Follow directions on how to season the griddle, clean after each use and apply cooking oil when done. Should last a long time. We watched how to videos online to learn the proper way to cook on a grill. Very helpful. Wish we had bought this grill a long time ago.

I have wanted a Blackstone for a long time. I was looking at them again last week and found the one I wanted at the price I liked so I purchased it. Got it put together without a problem. Now just waiting to season it up and start cooking! My kitchen is small do this will be a treat to cook outside.

although the grill came very well packaged, unfortunately the wheels on the piece are defective and i can't properly attach them bc the grooves don't align. also the instructions say to lossen a few screws in order to attach the side shelves but once i did that, they started being stripped. ib plan to contact the company so they can resolve but I'm praying i don't have to put it back in the box bc it was like tetris. ive heard great things about these griddles so I'm a little disappointed and this was a fathers day gift surprise which i know will not be resolved by Sunday.

Item arrived very quickly, very easy delivery. However, upon opening, the item was very clearly a used and returned product. The legs, wheels, shelves, and hardware were all missing. The cooktop was completely rusted. I'm absolutely shocked that some thought this could be repacked and resold in this condition. Can't comment on the item itself because it's completely unusable. However, I would warn against purchasing from Walmart. I will repurchase from a more reputable source in the future.

Purchased unit two weeks ago. Not able to control temperature i.e. lowest setting still @450 degrees per Blackstone infrared thermometer. Texted help. Diagnosed as gas rail over the phone. Will send part in 10-15. Business days. Repair will require almost complete tear down of unit. Online instructions ridiculously cryptic. Product obviously defective. Called company and spoke with a young lady who should be in politics given her ability to spin. Basically told me “tough luck.” Family has bought 7 of your grills. Had I known of your shoddy customer service and lack of response, I would have purchased a less expensive generic model. It used to be a maxim that “you get what you pay for”. Not so, with regards to your company, Requiring an untrained and relatively unskilled person to basically rebuild your grill could result in a potentially hazardous situation. I should close with “thank you”, but my question would then be “for what?”
