Blackstone Original Outdoor Griddle, 36 Inch 4-Burner Flat Top Grill with Hard Cover, Black

I love my BlackStone. Not a day goes by to where I don't go outside and fire it up. I haven't used my stove since I purchased it. I'm a chef and a caterer so this is perfect for me for everyday living. The kitchen use to be my favorite room until I got my BlackStone, now my patio is my favorite room. I recommend anybody who loves cooking to make this wonderful purchase. I promise you will not regret it.

I've bought 2 other brands because I thought the Blackstones were a little over priced. After buying 2 other brands and dealing with issues I finally decided to just try the blackstone. I did, and there is no going back. There is a reason why it's the top sold flat grill.

So, I bought the Blackstone 36-inch griddle, and I swear it made me feel like the Gordon Ramsay of suburbia. This thing is massive. It looks like something they'd use at Waffle House during the apocalypse. Four burners. 60,000 BTUs. You could probably sear a T-rex on it if you tried. Assembly took me and my questionable patience about an hour. My spouse “supervised,” which is Gen X code for standing there with a drink saying, “You sure that goes there?” But once it was together — chef's kiss. First meal I cooked? Bacon, pancakes, and eggs all at once. No juggling pans. No passive-aggressive sighs about cold food. Just glorious synchronized breakfast chaos. The smell alone made my teenage kids put their phones down for 10 minutes — so yeah, miracle confirmed. Cleanup is surprisingly easy. Scrape, wipe, oil. You treat it like your first car: a little grease, a little pride, and a lot of denial about how much you spent. Downsides? Well, it's huge. Like, “takes-up-half-the-patio” huge. But honestly, I don't care. I'm out here flipping burgers and pretending I'm in a Blackstone commercial while the neighbors peek over the fence with grill envy. If you're on the fence — get off it. Get this thing. You'll either become a backyard legend or at least have enough surface area to cook through your feelings.

Bought this Blackstone 36" griddle for my husband and accidentally upgraded our entire lifestyle. He loves it. Like talks about it to strangers loves it. Every weekend now comes with smash burgers, breakfast feasts, and the confident declaration of “I've got dinner handled.” The 4 burners heat evenly, there's tons of cooking space, and he looks genuinely happy flipping food like a backyard hibachi chef. The hard cover keeps it protected, cleanup is surprisingly easy, and I'm reaping all the benefits without lifting a spatula. Highly recommend if you enjoy good food and a very proud husband.

I got this for my dad for his birthday last month and I could tell although he was hiding it. He was super excited for it. I'm very handy so I was going to build it for him, but he was so excited. He could not wait and built it that night by himself. I was very surprised because he is not good with his hands so the fact that he built it perfectly means anyone should be able to assemble it. He said it was very easy to assemble, even by himself putting everything in his place was easy for him. He loves cooking on it and he is very happy that it came with a lid, which is what I was going for. I think you always need to get one that comes with a lid. He has already cooked on it time and time again, you name it, chicken, steaks, hamburgers, fried rice, literally everything he has cooked already and he loves it.

I already have recommended this and haven't even cooked on it yet. Directions are easy to follow. I can't wait to actually get to cook on it and be able to use it. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be but that's okay plenty of room with the shelves!!

I always loved this griddle I was waiting for the price to drop for me to buy it. I gave it a 4 stars because the top detaches and doesn't really allow me to place it anywhere and I rather not have it on the floor. Yes it can hold on to the back with the hooks but it's not ideal when cleaning the griddle or cooking. You can attach screws I just wish it came with some to help with that with I wanted that option. Cooking it is too bad had some steaks to test it out. But what I never saw anyone say was how easy and complicated it is to clean. 1st time you must clean it with soap and water to get off bag residue from the sticker attached to it. 2nd you have to “season it” which take avocado oil or the oil you can buy. It was pretty easy to assemble I did most of the work myself except for one part which was putting the griddle on I need help because it is pretty heavy. The instructions wasn't that great honestly it didn't really tell me which screws I can to look at the pictures to figure out what side and how to face the item. The shelf is a nice to have but you can't place anything plastic underneath it will burn! So I just leave it empty for now.

my unit arrived defective one of the burners does not stay lit for more than 5 minutes. I've been on the line with Blackstone support and have done some trouble shooting on the unit but it still won't work for me. i bought this at a great price but like they say it was too good to be true. I receive help from Blackstone but its about fixing it myself, i didnt buy it to fix it i bought it to cook on it.

Grill came broken, and dented and bent. Really bad build quality and the box it was shipped in was also broken and dented. Walmart doesnt give you options for remedy. Only return. Repackaged mind you. Took me 2 hours building to then realize it was broken.

This is a disgrace the way this showed up. Already had a ton of rust on it. I am unable to load this up and take it back to a store so something needs to be done to fix this. Do not buy this piece of junk, you can see photos of how this showed up even though it's brand new. Walmart needs to issue a full refund or send someone out to pick this up and bring me a new one
