The design of this grinder swirls the beans around such that you get an even grind throughout. You can determine the fineness by how long you hold the button down. I have used several grinders over time, but I like this one the best of the ones that don't have a burr system.
Bought this because my husband bought $22 of whole beans by mistake and opened the can! Frankly the grinder worked great...but I don't think the coffee tastes any different than pre ground. so will probably not use it for coffee after the beans are gone.
I love this product. It's a wonderful product easy to use user-friendly and it's easier on me to have to worry about grinding coffee, coffee beans but now I have one that grinds coffee beans it's a wonderful product. You are very viable and feasible thank you Walmart and seller.
Bought this recently and for the price it works well. Grinds coffee beans to powder as needed, only one small issue is the chaff or small pieces of beans collects somewhat in the plastic cover only sometimes. Would recommend getting, hope it will last a while. Only purchased to grind up coffee beans.
Great little grinder if you are looking to make a small amount. Does get a little caught up under the blades and have to tap it out. Cannot wash out the cup as it is attached to electrical, have to clean out with brush and paper towel. Loud when grinding beans. Only a small amount can be grinded at a time or does not do as well.
The lid for the grinder attaches at an odd angle, making it difficult to put on. You also cannot remove the metal basket or the blades for cleaning after use. It has an extremely small footprint, however, which is a win if you have a countertop size issue. It is also somewhat pitcher-shaped, which makes pouring your freshly ground beans into your press or basket for a pour-over, or even a drip maker.
Disappointed. Spend a few extra dollars and by a Mr Coffee grinder. Designers won the contest here, releasing a modern looking take on a classic form, but function loses. Can't load a full 12 cup batch of beans, and if you fill it to the top, the grinder needs help moving unchopped beans into blade. When ready to charge the coffee filter, grounds fall over the out side making a complete mess. Gave it away after a week of this.
The grind is just ok which I'd be fine with if it didn't make a complete mess every time you use it. Grounds get stuck to the lid and fall everywhere when you take the lid off. So much coffee sticks to the walls and lid that you can't get out. No real way to clean it either. Instructions say not to get the bowl wet and to clean it with a dry brush.
I only owned it six months before it stopped working. return policy on it is 30 days. now I see why. I won't be buying this again. complete rip off in the long term and idk what made it stop, so it could happen earlier for you. don't bother. it's not cheap if you have to keep replacing it!
When I finally got the coffee beans from Walmart which was delayed walmart.com. That is, I got the grinder out to try it. It doesn't work so now I have to return it to the store and yes. I am little irritated by that. It's not the store's fault.I realize it's a manufacturing issue.
