Bodum Schiuma Milk Frother, Black

This is a genius product! When comparing this to my Nespresso milk frother that's fairly heavy and needs to be plugged in, the Bodum Schiuma Milk Frother is extremely compact and convenient to use since it's battery-operated and doesn't have any annoying wires or cords. It's small enough to be a worthwhile addition to my tiny kitchen, and extremely easy to clean. Plus, it works very well in making thick froth out of plain milk (I warm it up in the microwave first before frothing). This is an ideal accessory for anyone who wants to make lattes or cafe au laits at home!

It whizzes, just takes regular batteries, and I dropped it on my hardwood floor and it still works.

Such a simple tool that makes lovely latte. Fragile tools like this one can get broken in a drawer, so Bodum has provided a very sturdy heavy cardboard box to keep it in. Genius!

Originally bought it to make Dalgona coffee but found that as the coffee, sugar, and water mixture got more thick the frother couldn't quite handle it and would stop. Would not recommend for using with thicker liquids. Works great for milk...which is what it is intended for.

Not bad for the price you pay

It works but it's not super easy to turn off and on.. I've had it come apart several times. I'm going to look into a different kind

I bought this because my old one, an Aerolatte, started not working so well, even after a battery change. Used to create lots of froth, then suddenly weakened so I got only a few bubbles. The Bodium Schium isn't an improvement over my old one in its deteriorated state. Doesn't really create much froth. I've ordered another Aerolatte. At least the old one worked well for a year or two.

Will it froth milk or mix a simple vitamin powder in water so it will easily dissolve? No, it won't. There is a spring at the base of the rod where it attaches to the handle and when activated it wobbles, slowing down rotation. It may work on a kids' bubble blowing liquid and make that froth but nothing else. It's going back.

Pathetic. Didn't work AT ALL. Ended up returning it.
