All of their products are great and everyone should take a moment to read the story behind their products. The orange marmalade is one of my favorites as it brings back memories of my childhood. Also, they don't use HFCS in any of their jams, just fruit, cane sugar, brown sugar and pectin. Yes, it's a little more expensive than other brands, but definitely worth it.
Needed a high quality, not overly sweet. Orange marvelate, and this is outstanding. I have used this company's products numerous times the recipe called for an orange marmalade. I used it. The recipe turned out better than I hoped for because of this product. It is great. On especially home, homemade baked rolls and breads. I would highly recommend this item. Above all, the other orange marmalades on the market. It's a little more expensive. But trust me, it is one
First, I love this marmalade-I love the consistency and flavor. It is smooth and not overly congealed from too many fillers or pectin, and not overly sweet. I like the ratio of orange rind pieces, and find them sweet and not bitter, which tends to be the case with cheaper brands. An extra bonus: I love the jar and have repurposed them for several things! I'd like to point out that Walmart delivery issues and improper packaging is NOT the brand's fault. Giving a 1 star review because the jar wasn't packed right in the Walmart box shouldn't reflect negatively on Bonne Maman!
I ordered two jars of Marmalade. One jar was intended as a gift. Unfortunately, one jar was open and the jam had leaked . It was a sticky mess. Please reimburse me or replace the jar. Thank you. The Bonne Maman products are delicious. The marmalade is a bit bitter but also very sweet. It is a delicious marmalade. I appreciate that there is no corn syrup in the jam. I will definitely order again. Photos are available, if needed.
This is my husband's absolute favorite orange marmalade. I don't like marmalade, but he's British, so he grew up on the stuff. Most brands we have tried are overly sweet (based on his taste tests) with way too much added sugar. Marmalade isn't meant to be sweet like that. This is one of only two brands we can get here in America that he will eat and is his preferred one. The brand is pricey (we use them for all our jams and such), but the quality is exceptional as always.
I am married to a Scottish immigrant, and, let me tell you, she is very discriminating with her marmalade—our cat is named Marmalade—so she was naturally suspicious when I changed brands. So I was surprised when my Bonnie lass admitted Bonne Mamam was as good or better than our previous marmalade—and to this American barbarian who only eats grape jelly—I was delighted to hear this—because Bonne Mamam is 1/2 the price of her preferred brand! Check this out! You will be glad you did.
Absolutely obsessed with this orange marmalade. It has that perfect hint of bitterness from the peel — the real, old-school citrus flavor. Sweet but not too sweet, bright, a little tangy, and honestly addictive. If you love marmalade with a true orange-peel bite, this one is amazing.
Purchased for filling a Victoria Sandwich (British cake). I couldn't have chosen a better option. Absolutely perfect raspberry flavor, akin to fresh fruit. It made the cake what it was. Gone! Will purchase other flavors in future (especially on sale)!
Probably the best orange jam on the market. I've gone to gourmet market and paid double and it didn't taste like this jam highly recommend it. It's also good on top of a fish FYI. And it didn't taste like this jam highly recommend it. It's also good on top of a fish FYI.
Good quality marmalade, but not enough orange peel for me. Plus it's a little bit too sweet for my taste. I'd also like to taste a bit more subtle bitterness that is characteristic of a high quality marmalade. But overall a very good product I would say!
