I love my Bonsaii shredder. Things I love about it.... - it has a pull out basket/bin instead of taking the heavy top off to empty - it is quiet, especially when compared to my old one - it is very easy to use - it has a pretty blue light when turned on - it seems smaller in overall size compared to my last one and I like that it takes up less space - I did not put wheels on the base but I guess nice to have that option

This is the best and least expensive shredder I’ve purchased out of the many I have owned over the years. It’s the perfect size for home use and it shreds an awful lot of paper at one time as well as credit cards. I don’t remember any assembly time. I used it immediately out of the box. It doesn’t jam and will shred credit cards and quite a few pages at a time. It’s cost effective and efficient. It empties out quick and easy with almost no cleanup. It’s not real loud. It’s a wonderful purchase. I use it daily. I’m glad I bought it. I rate it a 10 out of 10. I love it!

It’s perfect. I have been needing and wanting a micro cut schedder that wouldn’t cost me and arm and a leg. I holds the correct amount of weight and I don’t have to worry about someone putting my schredd back together to steal my information. The price was right and it is a heavy duty one that I won’t h a ve to worry about it breaking down after minimal use. Thanks you saved me from leaving the house for shopping for one.

This does what it says. Chews up 12 sheets and stapes at a time, and ran 1 hour ( I got tired of shreading before it said it was overheated). In 1 hour I was able to shread a file box full with stopping just to empty the canister out. Great value for a very effective shreader.

This shredder is perfect for a small or home business or personal use. It shreds everything into tiny pieces. It was easy to put together and use. love it!

The paper comes out of the shredder looking like chipped paper as opposed to longer shreds that caused the shredder to stop working before the receptacle was full. The pull out drawer is a far better set up than the last one, where the heavy shredder sat on top of the receptacle. It felt like half the time I was losing hold of it and dropping it in sideways. My son with autism loves shredding paper and I could tell he was frustrated with it jamming. He’s very happy that this one holds a lot more paper too. He can shred for 30 minutes and it gets warm but doesn’t overheat.

When FedEx dropped off the package at my door I noticed it was sitted upside down. When I went to use the shredder I took it out of the box an put the wheels on it then plugged it in an started shredding paper. While shredding papers it started making a whining noises after doing a couple of papers . When it was doing the whining noises I turned it off for a little bit. I turned it back on started shredding again it made another noise at the end of a shred of a paper the little noise didn't last long. The thing I didn't like was the whining noise.

auto cut works slowly %26 is slow to start. The receptical is not smooth to open and close. It advertises up to 12 sheetsper cut. 12 jam. 5-6 work much better.

I just brought it home 45 minutes ago and already regret buying this shredder. Firstly, when I first turned it on it squeaks. I thought it may need an oil sheet. I ran it thru twice, but it made no difference. I shredded a small basket of copy paper thru and it does not micro cut. What came out was long strips of accordion pieces. Is that what micro cut is? I like the heaviness of the shredder, and the bin is easy to clean and it isn't lightweight like some other shredders, but it is not enough for me to keep it. It is going back to Walmart. I may exchange it for another shredder just to see if another one would squeak.

Sadly the shredder I received was defective. I contacted the manufacturer customer service listed on the manual, explained the problem I was experiencing, and they told me to return the product immediately. Fortunately, Wal-Mart's return policy is outstanding.
