Quiet and quality

Contactman266 October 11, 2022

These earbuds are phenomenal. They let out a sound that personalizes a nice cancelation profile specifically for your own ear canal. When in quiet mode, I have to stand next to a speaker to even know if it's on because the noise cancelation is so great with these. The only drawback with these is that when I'm running in them, they tend to pop in my ears because of the inner seal. It just takes getting used to it.

Bose never let me down

Kiki314 December 2, 2022

I was looking forward to trying these as I have the wired Bose headphones and love their noise cancelling feature. I was not disappointed. Unboxing them I noticed how neat the design was and how little plastic was used in the packaging which makes a change. There are 2 more sets of ear bud covers to custom fit them to your ear size and a C charging cable included. I love that the case holds extra charge unlike some brands, the only thing missing is that they are not magnetic charger compatible but I can forgive that. Pairing them to my phone was very easy and using the touch function on the buds rather than having to fish my phone out of my pocket is a nice touch. Music quality was fantastic, you can adjust the sound to your taste using the graphic equaliser on the app or just go with pre set settings. No overly basey or tinny sounds just crystal clear good sounding tones that you expect from Bose. The noise cancelling is amazing, I honestly didn't think it would be as good as my wired headphones but it is. I cannot fault it and found it superior to my other ear buds. Call quality was clear, back ground noise was diminished so I could hear the caller and they could hear me, again I cannot fault this feature and found its quality superior to my current ear buds. They are a little chunkier than some earbuds bud they're not heavy and feel very secure in your ears. Wether you're walking, running or just laid in bed they don't budge and are comfortable. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is thinking about purchasing earbuds, if you want good quality, good tones, clarity and excellent noise cancelling these are winners in my eyes...and ears.

These are a Step up!

SJH376 December 5, 2022

I have had a few different pairs of earbuds (All good makes) but none of compare to the Bose Quiet Comfort II. They are amazing! The quality and Base far exceeds any of my previous earbuds. And the noise cancellation is brilliant. My office changes totally when I am wearing these. Its quiet! Also, my previous Buds used to pick up a lot of background noise and caused issues on conference calls. (I was having to mute all the time) But Bose QC II's have got that one covered. They fit nice and securely and feel like I can wear then all day (And I do at work) Great battery life (Im getting over 6 hours) and nice neat charge case. Pro's: Sound Quality is exceptional Noise cancellation amazing Battery life is great Very Comfortable Cons: A bit pricey (But worth it)

A great set of earbuds from Bose

santh1234 December 19, 2022

Being a commuter, a good pair of earbuds are important to me. Having used a quality pair of earbuds already, I wasn't expecting to see much of an improvement. However, these have blown me away. The main reason is the noise cancellation. Using the tube often in London, this is an important feature. Although noise isn't cancelled out completely, with music on, the intolerable screetching of the tube is reduced significantly. The sound quality is very good. I've only tested it on music apps so not the highest possible quality. Even for these, the seperation is clear and bass isn't too heavy which I've noticed with some other earbuds. They look great too and aren't very bulky so don't stick out of the ear too much. A number of sizes of inserts and hooks are included which was good to see. Overall, a solid pair of earbuds for the price point with great noise cancellation and sound quality.

Best wireless bluetooth headphones we've ever had

Brazilchick32 October 6, 2022

This review is for the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Series II, Noise Cancelling True Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, Soapstone. So, my husband has had probably close to 9 earbud sets over the years of different brands. He has had some that were horrible and some that were decent. Most claim to be noise cancelation but really are not. We have never had one like the quality of Bose until now and all I can say is WHAT A GAME CHANGER!! To go from lower end brands to Bose really shows you what you have been missing all this time and shows you what noise cancelation really should be. These are easy to set up and use and the ear buds fit perfectly and comfortably in the ear. There is an app to use these with. They are lightweight and have good volume. It's been a week and my husband says there has been no static or issues. The noise cancelation we put to the test because my husband always likes to talk to me while he is shopping if I am not with him and normally I can not hear him because the background noise is louder than he is but with these you can not hear anything going on behind him and he is completely clear. I highly recommend these ear buds. Seriously spending the extra gives you quality! We can never go back now.

Thoroughly Recommend

RichieRich December 20, 2022

As somebody who has used a number of different wireless ear buds inner ear headphones (at different price points) I was cautious when using these high end headphones. The concerns were unfounded as the headphones are great quality, the setup is simple and straight forward, the sound is amazing, and the indicators simple and effective. The headphones allow me to hear the sound around me (along with other modes), as well as being able to customize the controls all through the mobile app on the external device. I highly recommend these, Bose delivers a great quality set of headphones.

Outstanding noise reduction and sound quality, but

Cheekos December 8, 2022

Excited to open the disappointingly small box, but the earbuds are wee so don't know why I expected more bells and whistles. I was thrilled that they fit perfectly first time, without fiddling with fittings. The 'bavoom!' sound is unique to your ear and is reassuring every time you west them. and connects easily once set up with the BOSE music app. I've been using them heavily for over a week now, for music, commentary and work meetings - at home, in the office and traveling in car and train - so have a good idea of what's good, and what is more disappointing. What's great? The sound quality is brilliant, immersive and the quality you would expect from BOSE. I have their BlueTooth speakers - and vouch for their deep base and quality through midtones to high levels. These don't disappoint either. In 'Quiet Mode' - the noise canceling is exceptional. It truly knocks off most outside noise and sounds, except for the noisiest places. It's dangerous though. I had a soft toy launched at me for ignoring my wife. Completely unexpected - I nearly jumped out of my skin. However, given the chance you really get involved in the music or the commentary of the moment. For less nervy moments, and not to appear rude at home and in public, the 'Aware Mode' is the safer option, allowing you to have conversations while still muting the general background chitter-chatter. It's also relatively comfortable. I don't think they're the lightest or most comfortable buds I've worn, but they do the trick. The app is also spot on and allows you to easily amend bits and bobs, sounds and mode settings. There have been frustrations. The biggest disappointment isn't the lack of wireless charging, I don't mind it not being there, it's the battery life. I'm lucky to get 6 hours out of them in Aware Mode. In Quiet Mode it varies, but 4 to 5 hours is the norm fully charged. I think this is poor. OK, you can get a quick boost but I'd want more. I've not had chance to try it on a flight yet, but it will be OK for short haul European flights - but transatlantic or beyond the Middle East and it will be frustrating. Also, after a week of use, the left bud doesn't provide the same level of noise cancelling in noisy environments as the right one - which is really noticeable. The touch controls aren't very sensitive either, which is surprising. So overall, stunning sound and noise cancellation let down by so-so battery life. Would I recommend? Yes, I use all the time - while the battery lasts.

Amazing noise cancellation!

JulieS28 December 19, 2022

These earbuds amazed by straight away - they are so comfortable to wear in my ear, no modifications needed, though it's nice to have different ways of changing the setting if I need to. The set up on the app was fairly easy, and the different modes were very useful. I love using the quiet mode when I'm commuting, it really shuts out the noise! A feature which is really important to me is being able to use one earbud at a time when I'm putting my toddler to sleep or doing things around the house. I know this was not possible at the time that these earbuds were released, so I was very relieved to see it was possible now and worked well, however there is a catch - only the right bud can be used individually. Today I wanted to use both my earbuds but the right was had ran out of charge, which meant I couldn't use them at all, since the left one can't be used on its own. The earbuds are great for phone calls (again the right one must be used as it has the mic in it). I also like the carry case, it looks really elegant. Overall I am very happy with them, though I feel like for the price point they are at, there should not be any issues at all!

Very good, although not quite perfect

SPZ02 December 7, 2022

Having used a variety of over-ear headphones and earbuds of varying budgets (££ to £££), wired and wireless, I wasn't quite sure what to expect with the Bose QC II Earbuds. Took me a while to get them fitting how I liked, especially as the fitment was different to the usual wired earbuds I've used for years, with the ear canal piece being more rectangular than circular. Eventually got them sitting right and the fitment does actually feel better than what I've been used to. Saying that, I often get this little nagging feeling that the left earpiece is going to come loose, and yet it's very much firmly in place if I try to move it about. Tried various combinations of the different sized accessories with no real improvement, but it's a minor quibble, especially as I've used these for home workouts successfully; they've certainly never come close to falling out or anything like that. Noise-cancelling is decent. A lot is made of how class-leading these are in that respect, and I certainly don't think they're anything less than very good in that department, but in terms of blocking out outside noise when there's no audio playing, I don't think they're a clear step-up over what I've been used to. Audio quality is good; definitely an improvement over my various pairs of earbuds I've had, although no better than a pair of popular wireless headphones I have, but then those have much larger drivers, so perhaps an unfair comparison. Only mentioning because I saw someone mention elsewhere that they replaced their OE headphones with a pair of earbuds, and I don't think I'd be doing that myself; these QC IIs are very much for situations where bigger headphones aren't really suitable, such as going outside or exercising/running etc. Bluetooth connection/App seems stable, not had any connectivity issues so far. Actually went into the garage and forgot to take my phone with me, but the signal was still fairly stable, even though I was quite some distance from the source and had several doors/buildings blocking the signal potentially, so I'd have no concerns about dropouts in normal usage, impressive in that regard. Touch controls are simple and effective, although the pause/resume function does "feel" a bit laggy, but that may well be to do with ensuring pausing/resuming gestures aren't mixed up with the next/previous track function. Not a big deal as audio stops promptly if you tap the earbuds, I just have to remind myself to give them a few seconds to resume when I tap them again. I do wish there was a little audio beep or something when adjusting the volume as there is with my headphones. Although speaking of volume, these do need to be at a higher volume level than what I'm used to with other headphones/earbuds that I wear. Overall, a good buy.

amazing sound quality. lacks some features

jessi October 4, 2022

I rate these headphones a 4 out of 5 mainly because of the sound quality but I have a few things I'm disappointed in especially because of the price point. i really wish the bose name wasn't so large on the side of the earbud it's so distracting wish it was maybe smaller or on an edge. it has no wireless charging BUT that means it weighs less not an issue for me. there is no indication on the case that says anything about the battery and its a bigger case than other types of wireless earbuds but significantly smaller than past bose cases so that's good. there isnt a button that allows you to open the case which means that the case opens too easily also from my experience. the magnets don't really help the case stay closed. the process to pair it is a little difficult. first of all you have to have the app which i don't like and a lot of other wireless headphone don't need an app but if you want to customized your sound quality these are a great option.i like the ear buds that just pair with the phone by Bluetooth but this is definitely very technical The best part about these headphones is that they do live up to the Bose name in terms of noise canceling. It feels like it adjusts to the sound intensity. The quality of calling people is good also because it's very clear. I do agree that the charging time for the earbuds lasts about 6 hours with no issues. Again, you can customize the sound quality on the app. As most earbuds, these come with 3 different soft silicone ear tips and 3 stability bands but for the price I do think there need to be even more tip options for a good fit for everyone These look big in my ears but I was suprised they aren't heavy. I do wish that again for the price point that they would come with the option of over the ear holders too. It seems big but they do have a lot of features especially the swiping on the outside of the earbud wide portion that's unique and there's enough room for your finger to slide easily and a groove to know when to stop You do need to use certain functions on certain earbud and not that can be done on either one. The quiet and aware modes are unique and I'm glad there two options, you may need to play around to get used to them. I personally like the aware mode as it allows for more background noise to get in and I can still pay attention to other things, but there is an area you can change the noise cancelation and tailor it. I think you can only use the voice feature on the right earbud. you can't use one earbud independent of another at the moment uless you leave both outside the case but i did read it may become Available in an update. you also have to be careful with the amplifying power of these earbuds because some sounds are so loud in your ear. personally i do not walk around with earbuds i only use them to work out but would definitely not wear these all the time if I was looking for that option without removingsome of the noise canceling because its so intense almost like wearing earplugs. PLEASE add a find my earbud feature to the app it's really needed! Overall i think the sound quality is great but some of the convenience options aren't available and are actually better on some less expensive options
