Bose SoundLink Max Bluetooth Speaker, Waterproof Portable Speaker, Black

Upon powering up this unit and listening to the incredible sound coming out, I had no choice in my mind, and was OH Wow, wouldn't it be phenomenal to hear them in stereo? So, I got online and ordered a second unit right then. My suspicions were spot on. These are my 4th Bose , the last being the Smart Speaker, which while it sounded great, this one moves into a higher class of quality, the first clue being the weight- substantial enough it's not gonna vibrate around where it's placed and the weight also indicates heavy duty speaker magnets and heavy duty battery to drive it. This unit? the Soundlink Max is an incredible sound producing unit. That clear Bose sound, instruments identifiable their individual tones standing out crisp and bold. Immediately the sound is strong and grounded. Definitely next level up from the lower priced alternative Bose speakers. Super happy I was able to get them right away delivered with Walmart from my local store.

This is our third Bose portable speaker in several years, as the first two got snaffled by our sons :-) The sound is incredible. We had a gathering with 20+ friends on our deck and this little baby cranked out perfect sounds all night.

I purchased this for my husband because he loves listening to music wherever he is. I was so impressed with the quality of the sound and how loud this speaker goes. He loves it, we recommend it to all our friends.

I absolutely love this speaker and having it be Bose made it even better! The sound quality is great for my needs and pleasure! It was a birthday gift to myself last October when my other Bose system was stolen a couple years prior…I absolutely would recommend this speaker! 👍🫶

This is probably one of the best portable Bose speakers out there. That sounds cresp and deep base and the battery lasts a long time. For the price and money that you're going to spend out there on other speakers.I would definitely recommend getting this speaker over the other ones.

Overall, it sounds great. It does have the famous slight Bose "muddiness," where the treble feels rolled off, but it still produces good sound. I must admit, I was expecting a little better sound quality. I think my expectations were too high. It's not much better than my 10-year-old Soundlink Mini II, which is a fantastic speaker and smaller to boot. Overall, I would recommend this if you can get it on sale and it fits where you're going to put it. Probably only audiophiles would consider traveling with a speaker this large. I think its greatest asset is the amount of volume it can pump out at this size point, along with the quality of the device.

great speaker for those who can afford it, for those on a budget saving for your dream speaker, maybe try something else, its okay but too expansive for what it offers,

It's decent but was disappointed it didn't have as much bass power as I was expecting, good all the same.

I always found Bose to be a cut above other speakers but this one fell short. The sound seems muffled and not crisp like other Bose products. Perhaps it is the waterproofing membrane. We ended up with a Turtlebox for less money that sounds much better.

The speaker has great sound but the voice prompt stopped working. I never turned it off, I tried turning it back on and no success. I tried all recommendations on ChatGPT and still not working
