The Bostitch Ergonomic Desktop Stapler with 20-Sheet Capacity is very lightweight, and feel comfortable in your hands. I got this around the time I needed multiple pages stapled together and passed out for a safety meeting that I was conducting. And with all the paperwork that this item has been used for, I still have not came across any staple jams, Iike others that we have used in the past. It holds a little over 200 standard size staplers that are simple to load. The bottom has a solid metal build and a rubber flat foot with a hard plastic top. It also opens so I was able to use it for tacking up flyer on Bulletin boards and telephone poles when my neighbor cat was missing. it works good and looks great in my home office on my desk.
Great Stapler and perfect for college kids and teachers! My only complaint is that most stapler come with a few staples to get you started, this one comes with none. So make sure you grab some before you leave the store! But overall, its a great stapler! I do a lot of volunteering in the school system and have my bag of supplies I tote with me. This stapler has come in handy!
This thinking machine is great the staple machine is great. Because I always been looking for one I like to staple paper together that important because you need to stay with the paper that important and put them together. My daughter enjoy it because it flip up and you can staple paper on the wall which I don't think she should do. I will recommend this product to anybody who love it and looking for 2 look full to work
This too is a great product that did what it promised. I stapled, ( I had an old stapler that I was planning to get rid of and so I already had plenty of regular staples on hand), 20 sheets of printer paper together and Lo and Behold! It worked! Just like it promised. Great choice, Walmart!
My old “swingline” stapler is pretty heavy. Makes a great paper weight. And boxy and requires a lot of pressure to get it to push a staple through a few sheets of 20 pound paper. And if you have to do 40 or 50 sets the hard, rectangular surface starts to cause discomfort in the palm. I understand why some folks opt for an electric stapler to avoid the issue. But that seemed just a bit ostentatious for a one person office and given the infrequent need for multiple multi-page documents. So this new Bostich Ergonomic Desktop Stapler is still nice heavy construction. Nothing feels cheap about it. But it does not cut into the palm after a few repetitions the way the old unit would. It has a good, comfortable feel on the palm. This units rounded edges and the palm shaped “nubbied” pressure point look and feel a bit like a computer mouse. Never really thought about ergonomic design for a stapler, but this one really does seem to cause less stress when pushing staples through several sheets a few dozen times a day. Anxious to try it on documents that use heavier paper, maybe 24 or 28 pound next.
I've been using a small hand-held stapler for most stapling tasks at home. I was in need of a bit more heavy duty stapler. This Bostitch is a good inbetween. It's lightweight enough to staple as a hand held stapler and also has a heavy enough base to keep it sturdy when stapling on a table. The rubber base is thick to prevent scratches on your desk or table and to keep the stapler from sliding around when your trying to staple paper. It holds the expected amount of staples and can easily staple multiple sheets of paper without jamming. Loading the staples into the stapler is simple enough as most staplers. The stapler can be opened up to use on a corkboard to hang sheets of paper. The design and style are sleek but not too overly fashioned. Little bumps add texture, sensory touch and grip to the push-down spot on the stapler. I have this stapler in our homework area. Everyone in the household has used it with ease including our preschooler. Because of the lightweight design it can fit nicely in a basket or drawer without adding to much weight. It also looks nice enough to sit on the desk without taking up too much space.
As someone with carpal tunnel in their dominant hand I was excited to receive and review this Bostitch Ergonomic stapler from the Spark Reviewer Program. This stapler requires minimum force to operate. I have an office job that requires a lot of stapling during the day and have brought this stapler to work due to the one we purchase from an office supply company not being very carpal tunnel friendly. Thank you Bostitch for this ergonomic stapler!
This is a very nice little stapler. It is easy to load, which is nice. I haven't actually tried to staple 20 sheets at once. However it does go through several sheets without any problems. It isn't that big either so it doesn't take up much room on your desktop.
Since my kids been going to school I've always bought the little mini staplers. This is my 1st big size stapler. It works well and staples papers just fine. I just wish it had came with sample staples. I used the staples that I bought for my kids mini stapler. I'm pretty sure this stapler could work with bigger, heavy duty staples but I don't know because it didn't come with any samples. Overall it's practical and easy to use.
The Bostitch Desktop Stapler is a heavy stapler. It is constructed of metal and plastic and has an ergonomic handle. It also has some raised dots on the top which I don't care for. I was able to staple a total of ten sheets of regular printer paper with this stapler. It doesn't come with staples so you will need to buy some. It does use just a standard staple which i had on hand. It also holds 210 staples and has a staple supply indicator so you can see when you need to refill it. Feels very durable. But you have to push hard to staple through 10 sheets of paper.
