BOSTITCH Metal EZ Squeeze 40 Sheet 3-Hole Punch

The Bostitch EZ Squeeze 40-sheet 3-Hole Punch comes in a sturdy cardboard box (heavily printed, but a good size to repurpose for thrifty/eco-friendly people like me). The punch boasts "all-steel construction," which is true with the exception of the rubbery handle grip and the hole-punch collection base on the bottom. It certainly seems to be sturdily-built. A small metal button projects from one end of the hinge, which when pressed in locks the punch handle in the closed position for storage. (A little diagram engraved on the handle next to the button serves as a reminder of the button's function.) The rubbery hole-punch collection base seems to be permanently attached; however, a broad flap in the middle flips open when you're ready to empty the hole punches into the wastebasket or recycling bin. If your business requires the use of a 2-hole punch, this will not work for that purpose, as the punch positions are non-adjustable and a little too far apart for the usual spacing for 2-hole paper fastening. However, if you do have need for a 3-hole punch, this works beautifully! The computer games my spouse loves to play have largely gone to PDF manuals, and the high capacity and low required hand pressure of this Bostitch EZ Squeeze 3-hole punch reduced what would have been at least a half-hour process to hole-punch a 250-page game manual printout to 5 minutes, tops. I can easily see myself printing out paper copies of digitally-purchased crochet pattern books and hole-punching them for storage in 3-ring binders with the Bostitch EZ Squeeze. School reports & worksheets, custom cookbooks compiled from your favorite downloaded recipes, moving binders . . . pretty much anything you might want to store in a 3-brad report cover or 3-ring binder will be a breeze to quickly hole-punch with the Bostitch EZ Squeeze. Granted, this is slightly bulkier than cheap, low-capacity 3-hole punches, but if you have the space to store this, this will last far longer and work with far less hassle than any competing 3-hole punch. This review is for the Bostitch EZ Squeeze 40 Sheet 3-Hole Punch (HP40). I absolutely goes through 40 sheets with ease with its EZ Squeeze Technology. Clean punches. All metal design. Built in paper guide, and easy to clean chip tray. Lock down handle for easy storage. I have used many 3 hole punches before. I have never used one this good! I barely had to apply additional force to get it to go through 40 sheets. I highly recommend to all!

I received this Bostitch EZ Squeeze 40 Sheet 3-Hole Punch (HP40) in exchange of an honest review.  I order this because I'm always doing paperwork for work. I always like to have everything well organized. I always get all the paperwork that belongs together and put it in a binder.  But it has happened to me many times, I dropped the paper and it all gets disorganized. I hate when that happens.  So now what I do is get all the paperwork that belongs together and make some holes punch in them and put them all together. That way nothing goes missing or gets lost. I also ordered this for my kids projects and homework.  Theirs nothing like having all you homework and classwork well organized with dividers. He hole punches hes paperwork and places them in each class divider.  This not only has help me very much with paperwork but it helps my kids with their projects and homework.  This Bostitch EZ Squeeze 40 Sheet 3-Hole Punch (HP40) comes in the color black with some gray in it. It's made out of metal it. Not only is it all metal but the handle that you press down to make the holes punch  is very wide . To me that's one of the most important thing about a hole puncher.  The handle needs to be very sturdy and wide enough for my hands. Its happened to me before  when I've used a hole puncher I've hurt my hand either because the handle wasn't sturdy ,well built or the handle being so small.  This Bostitch EZ Squeeze 40 Sheet 3-Hole Punch (HP40) also comes with a lock protector.  It helps you keep the hole puncher locked when not being used and it helps you save some space in your desk.  It's very easy to lock and unlock.  It has a lock picture by the the  metal,  you need to pull or push it in when trying to lock or unlock it. It's very easy to use, push the handle down like if your going to hole punch something.  You hold it down,  then you either pull it out to unlock it or you push it in to lock it. Took me a few minutes to figure that out lol. Another thing about this hole puncher is very easy and smooth to handle. It easily slices through the stacks of paper. It's very smooth you don't need to press it down that hard nor you need to hold it down for that long. Another great thing about this hole puncher is it doesn't leave you a mess . It's very easy to clean up. It comes with a chip tray. All you need to do is open up the tray and toss it all in the trash can. Since this hole puncher is made out of metal and not that light weight to be carrying around everywhere.  Its ment to be in a office or desk.  It comes with a rubber base. Which for me is great that way it's more secure and it provides extra stability.  It also comes with the markings where is the best place to place your papershest to get the right angle of your 3 hole punches.  This Bostitch EZ Squeeze 40 Sheet 3-Hole Punch (HP40) it's for small and big jobs. If you need to hole punch just one sheet it will do it. Its It's meant  to hole punch from 1 paper sheet up to 40 paper sheets at once. It makes the 3 hole punches just perfect.  I recomend this to everyone who  likes being organized with their paperwork.  It helps so much, for work and school projects. 

This hole punch by Bostitch is perfect for the home or office. It seems industrial regarding size and quality. With lots of papers stacked in our home-office, this 3-hole puncher is great to have as it can do 40 sheets at a time with ease and no struggle. Instead of stacks of papers laying around waiting to be misplaced, they'll all be organized in binders. As it is relatively large, there is a lot of leverage which is why it can do that many sheets in one go. It's an all metal design and as large as it is, it has some weight to it, so when not in use, I've been using it as a paper weight. The main feature that makes this hole puncher excellent is the paper guide which makes it all aligned everytime. Also, the base of the hole puncher is rubber, reducing any damage to the desk over time from heavy use. The only thing it doesn't mention is how to empty the holes that is collected in the base, which I'll figure out. There is a locking pin on one side when not in use for compact storage. Overall, it's an exceptionally good quality 3-hole puncher for the home, school, and office. Highly recommend it.

This hole punch is great. I didn’t actually count, but I’m pretty sure I even used more than 40 sheets in this and it went through them all just fine! The design is sleek and looks nice in my office. The tray is super easy to empty, you just press down to release it and dump the trash. This is very durable and I know it will last a long time, even with consistent use.

The simple joy of feeling the paper get sliced through in exactly the way I need when I use this machine. 🤌 So nice. Also dang, its good to not have to break up packets of over 20 pages. This hole punch does its job and it is a pleasure to use. Slightly bulky but worth it.

I’m very happy with the ease of use for this paper hole puncher. Paper was easy to slide in and pinch and then remove from the unit. The handle functions nicely- you do not have to put forth a huge amount of pressure to get this to use the paper punches. Unit looks sleek and modern- very happy with this and glad to have it in my home office and for school.

This is a heavy duty hole puncher. It's made of metal and has rubber grips on the handle, which is great. It has 4 small corner rubber grips on the bottom of the base. This is a little lacking. The WHOLE base should be coated in rubber. It is plastic and may slide around a bit if you're whole punching and using some force. This may cause misaligned holes. It has a lock-pin to keep it closed, so it's more compact when not in use. It works really well, has a very strong spring and sharp metal pins to puncture the paper. It DOES punch 40 sheets, but not with ease. You really have to force it. I would suggest doing 30 sheets or less at a time. To empty the scraps out, you have to pull down the right side flap and shake them out. I personally prefer when the whole bottom base plate comes off so I can effectively get any scraps that may be stuck, but that's just my preference. If I ever get a paper punch jam, it may be difficult to clear the jam--and I just might have to pry off the bottom. It almost looks like you could take a flat-head screwdriver to the slots around the perimeter to get it off. It's a great hole puncher but is lacking in the rubber grip on the base. I'm docking a star for this.

This really is a heavy duty hole puncher. It is not lightweight and feels substantial. I was actually able to punch through 40 plus pages, at once, with one being an outer cover that was a little thicker. It did take a little more effort but, all in all, the item does what it says and works well. It will be very useful in my home office.

On the behalf of spark reviewer I received the bostitch EZ squeeze 3-hole puncher. I really needed a new hole puncher for my office, my old one was falling apart. The bostitch EZ squeeze hole-puncher can punch through 40 sheets of paper at a time. It collects all the pieces of paper at the bottom. I don’t ever have a mess to clean up after using this hole puncher wit h is great. I hated having to pick up all those little pieces of paper after hole punching them. There is a rubber top part so it’s Easter to press down which hole punching. I also love that there is a lock on this hole-puncher. Overall a great thing to have in your office or home.
