Braun Thermo Scan 3 Ear Thermometer, for Infant and Toddlers, FSA & HSA Eligible, White IRT3030US

Ease of use is a bit different from the one ive had for 15 yrs. it was also a Braun and served us well. Liked the old one better as it came with a handy case you could store the extra covers in. other than that, the difference is minimal and a welcomed change from attempted "thermoscanners" of ANY brand we've tried. very quick so i think it'd be good for younger children who don't like being poked around on. I'd definitely recommend this product 100%.

Exactly what I needed and Walmart had a better price! And by a better price I mean I saved over 15 dollars!

This is the second of two Braun Thermometers I recently purchased. I like this model better because it was cheaper than the than the other one, and I like the features. It has a cap for storage, one button operation, and displays the temperature on the side. Overall length is about 5 1/4". The only disadvantage I see is that it's slightly difficult for me to manipulate with my arthritic hands.

Ever have to check your kids temp at night? with this Thermometer it will beep to let you know if its a reg temp or beep beep if its slightly high or 3 beeps if it is really high! yes it will tell you on the lcd, but the convenience of not having to cut on a light unless it is really high... ugh... i Just love it! to me it is the upgrade i never knew i needed!

Very easy to use. Seems accurate. Only complaint is that the screen does not light up so it's slightly difficult to use in darker rooms

When all our other thermometers said we were around 97° the ear thermometer was consistently putting the ear temp of the adults in our household at above 100°. It seemed to a little better for our kids ears. Not sure what the issue is! I tested the thermometer on my ears every day, and I never had a reading below 100! 🤔

Beep did not work. Emailed manufacturer and their reply was that the beep is not very loud. Made me feel like they were implying I was hard of hearing, which I am not. This is their reply. " We will be happy to assist you with your thermometer. The beep that is made by this unit is in a high frequency and to some, this beep can be difficult to hear. The beep is an added feature of the thermometer and does not affect the function of the thermometer. If you are able turn your thermometer on and take a temperature, then your thermometer is functioning properly, and you may substitute a timed reading for the beep feedback. We recommend checking the reading after approximately 4-7 seconds." Seriously?

What's the point of a thermometer? To provide accurate consistent readings. This does neither. Our old Braun broke after 2 years. Purchased another model of Braun (little cheaper) and this thing is junk. Fluctuates 2-3 degrees each time you take a reading. Worthless.
