I got the kettle last week. We like it very much. It's so practical and beautiful. Matched completely with our new apt. Though, it takes almost 20 days to receive from Ontario to BC, where the closest Walmart store to us is located. I would recommend it to anyone.

I totally love this electric teapot and bought it so I could enjoy and see the "blooming" teas. The pot is made well, very sturdy and so pretty in red. The sparkling blue light that comes on is so cool. Love that it has automatic turn off and also has s little sieve built into the pour spout. Great price and speedy delivery from Jet! This is a very basic kettle, boils only but does it quickly and the glass pot is easy to clean. That's why it's less expensive than others. I only wish it had the feature to keep the water hot instead of just shutting off.

I've got that kettle about month ago and using it on daily basis. Nice looking kettle on white kitchen with SS appliances. No any issue at all. I put 4 stars because that unit 1100 Watt, not 1500 W, so it works a little slower . And second , I found, manufacture date was 2010. I am very wondering, how retailer like Walmart sell kettle was build 10 years ago!?

This kettle has a beautiful appearance, but contrary to the description, the water does not boil faster than the microwave, and the handle of the kettle heats up a little and the water cools down very quickly !!

[Employee of walmartcanada] I ordered this kettle from Walmart online, picked up the kettle 7 Jan 2019. Didn't look at the life of the warranty was only 12 months. Works fine till 12 Jan 2020 it died, just stopped working, just after the warranty was up 12 months and 5 days. That's some timing. Look for something with a longer warranty.

I didn't read enough prior to purchase...this kettle DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO-SHUT OFF!!!! that means it will just boil away until it boils itself to death...you must stand on alert, watch and wait for the boil...and then turn it off! no room for someone getting distracted! I also found it to be slow getting to boiling point! "Watch pots never boil!," right?!

Got this for less than a month, guess what? There are dots of rust growing at the bottle on the boiler , good thing i got a clear one so I can see it through !!!!
