I totally love this electric teapot and bought it so I could enjoy and see the "blooming" teas. The pot is made well, very sturdy and so pretty in red. The sparkling blue light that comes on is so cool. Love that it has automatic turn off and also has s little sieve built into the pour spout. Great price and speedy delivery from Jet! This device is as perfect as it could possible be. Heats water quickly. I love the auto shut-off. I also like that it doesn't heat the water so hot that I burn my mouth when I take my first sip of my morning coffee. I love that because I love my coffee and want it immediately. So glad I ordered it.

This is a very basic kettle, boils only but does it quickly and the glass pot is easy to clean. That's why it's less expensive than others. I only wish it had the feature to keep the water hot instead of just shutting off.

I absolutely love my new kettle. However, I am a bit concerned with the automatic shut off. The kettle does turn off automatically when it has finished boiling, but it will it restarts on its own, even if there is no water left in the kettle. We have to manually turn off for it to stop. I don't think this is normal?

First experience was a power switch that clicked off immediately. Pressing and holding it down while the current surged got around that. This happened only three or four boils after that. Now the power switch stays on until the water boils and switches off promptly. The only down side now is the length of time it takes to boil a full load. It takes just a bit longer than I'm used to. The blue light that bathes the Kettle's inside is beautiful to behold though.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I ordered this kettle from Walmart online, picked up the kettle 7 Jan 2019. Didn't look at the life of the warranty was only 12 months. Works fine till 12 Jan 2020 it died, just stopped working, just after the warranty was up 12 months and 5 days. That's some timing. Look for something with a longer warranty.

I didn't read enough prior to purchase...this kettle DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO-SHUT OFF!!!! that means it will just boil away until it boils itself to death...you must stand on alert, watch and wait for the boil...and then turn it off! no room for someone getting distracted! I also found it to be slow getting to boiling point! "Watch pots never boil!," right?!

Got this for less than a month, guess what? There are dots of rust growing at the bottle on the boiler , good thing i got a clear one so I can see it through !!!!

This kettle is pretty to look at but everytime you pour the water, it will leak from the spout. The design is not good. And I used it for less than a year, today I plug it in and it is not working anymore. It is broken. A waste of water with poor quality control.
