Works well
Absolute must have in your home. It fits perfect and is exactly as described. It's prewired to just plug and play. (ready to go) It comes with a battery and having that feature is great if you lose power. Works well. I like having the peace of mind that this will work when there is danger of a fire.

We had moved into this home and it had a place for a detector but didn’t have one . This one was so simple to connect, just turn off the breaker in your power box, attach the bracket to the wall with 2 screws and connect the two wires. I like that it has the battery for backup. I pray we never need the detector but I feel better knowing it’s here.

3 chirps and your out (replace/ expiration)
One of my smoke alarms was doing the three chirps end of life 10 year expiration. Replaced with this and all is well. You just have to make sure you have the same connections and model number. So far all is well. 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Easy Direct Replacement: First Alert Model 9120B
I was able to replace a 10 year old smoke detector, not made anymore?, by myself by climbing up, unscrewing/unplugging the old one, plugging/screwing in the new one, and installing the battery into this new model number smoke detector.
