this is an all in one printer with digital screen . Our older model which lasted 15 years had a button keypad. it is easier to clean one screen than 2 dozen buttons. Copies are crisp.

Easy to hook up to your Wifi. Didn't need the standard "pairing" approach where you had to hit the pairing button on your modem). The minute I hit "print" the unit starts immediately, no delay. Print quality is great. I like this much better than the HP printer I had before this. It's a great printer.

I have been using Canon Pixma's printers for years. After lots of research, buying 2 and having to take them back to the store, I chose this Brother and thoroughly impressed with the ease of the setup, very user friendly. I also liked the ink cartridges are separate and not combined. I can change just color that is out and not replace the whole cartridge. Other positives: doesn't take up too much space, Wireless print from phone, fast printing, added bonus, cuts the paper in half. If looking for an All-in-one printer this is a workhorse with great results.

Excellent printer. I have bought other brand names and this is the best printer I have used. The Ink is a little expensive. But other than that it's a great addition to my business. I love this brand and the ease of printing from my phone is wonderful!

Pros: ease of installing ink. Copying with the ability to auto-feed the paper. Cons: The amount of time needed to get it to print - every time. Typical example: I receive a printer error on computer, but not on machine and error gives zero information as to what the error is. Network configuration on printer shows strong connection. Reboot computer, nothing. Unplug printer for 30 seconds and plug it back in and same print job showing the error decides to print. I've experienced this on an old computer, a brand new computer, and from an iphone.

The printer performance is unreliable. Will print occasionally . After several days it will print out what was asked to print. I would likely return it to the store for a full refund.

worst printer ever! Really a waste of your money. Dont buy.

Description said connectivity included ethernet (wired) but machine does not have this ability. Brother Inc. 's site describes this as not for wired net works. Now I have to return this.
