Printer was shipped quickly, it installed and came online flawlessly. Instructions were clear, complete, and easy to follow. Setting up a wifi connection to a home network is not always easy, but in this case it "just worked" ... the front-panel setup option that I used, had a minimal number of steps to follow, and was *very* easy to implement, and the printer works beautifully. Printer setups can sometimes be very frustrating, but this one was superb!
A great printer if you don't mind forgoing color. I usually send my color prints to the local OfficeDepot so I don't have to pay for the cost and hassle of a color laser printer, or even worse, an inkjet. Yes, I'm a cheapskate, but the consumables are just too expensive for me!
I had a perfectly good HP laser jet printer, albeit somewhat simpler than this model. I got sick of lousy support, constant glitches that caused print failures, and general frustration in trying to keep it online and working. HP troubleshooting and support was, well, nonexistent and useless. Setup took hours per computer (I have three,) and we just had enough. I bought this Brother L2750 today, had it all set up, connected to wireless and printing in about three hours. Considering the age of my Windows based computers, you will probably do it in about 15 minutes per computer. My Apple mobile products all printed immediately without ANY setup. The copier and paper feed works well, we rarely scan, and who really needs a fax these days? But having the capacity to do so will be very useful. Docs are crisp, the machine is reasonably quiet. The footprint is not too large. Toner seems reasonably priced compared to Canon. Tech support is easily available. Duplex printing will be nice! Access to toner, paper tray and printed docs are all on the front, so you don't have to move it around much - but if you do there are convenient handles on the sides. The touchscreen is a bit small for my fingers, but I used a pencil eraser and had no trouble. So far, we really like this printer.
Good printer. Brother service leaves a little desired. No one will clarify how to print fix the one I have local vendor not sure if they can fix or not. Can find little information on self-service. Just overall not a great experience. And yes I know most of these are throw away but I try not to do that.
Printer arrived on time. The size was smaller than what expected (compared to MFC 9230) which was good. Setting up Wi-Fi was simple enough. The two (2) deal breakers are: 1. REAL Noisy 2. Prints to light (lack of adjustment). Not really happy with my purchased. I have ordered a ink jet instead.
Printer is fine so far but do not like that the old Brother printer that works just fine could not be updated fit new Apple laptop! Had gotten deal on new replacement drum and several laser cartridges for not much money. So prepared for drum failure in future. Electronics is a racket
The toner life says it can print 1200 pages but I think this printer never has achieved to that goal. I have been keeping replacing the toner for the past years. So just in last year on Nov 13, I made an indication of the date when I have replaced toner. Now it March 16, it reminds me to replace the toner again. The only times I used this machine is sometimes I did some copies of maximum 15 pages and that's on a bi-weekly pace.
Worked well for about 1-1/2 year then lost connectivity as a scanner then as a printer. No support article addresses the issue and the network repair tools are useless. Tried various firewall settings, uninstalling and re-installing to no avail. Next step is a USB connection, which I haven't tried yet.
I use this printer in my home office. I have been frustrated with it from day one. I have to "wake it up" before it prints. I get an error message that it is offline but then I open the cartridge door and close it and it will print. It doesn't wake up on it's own most of the time and when it does it takes way too long. Not very convenient when I am doing large payrolls and need to print several batches of cheques.
I just opened my own business, bought 2 of these printers Brother MFC 2750, waist of my money, I always used 2740 and I wish they could replace them, exchange them for my favourite. Don't buy Brother anymore, I will try to find different and throw these ones in the garbage.
