This supplement is necessary in order for VIT D3 to be metabolized in the cell. without it, VIT is rendered impotent as it will be stored but not released to the body requirements. There is plenty of science to back this up. Read some of Jeff Bowles studies and research. Buying it in bulk allows 3 things: 1. There is NO fillers or off-putting ingredients that are often included in pills/capsules 2. You can determine how much you want to take daily. 3. Buying in bulk can save you money, my dose, which is 60 times the RDA recommendation costs 6 cents per day. The only real negative is that you need a scale to weight the proper amount. I make it easy and use a Pill machine to make my own pills at a fraction of the cost. I buy bulk D3, K2, Magnesium, Zinc and Boron -- which are ALL necessary for the proper availability of D3 and K2 to be brought into the cell. Cheers to your health!!

Product arrived quickly so that was great. However, it is next to impossible to measure out an accurate 9mg serving size so I have no idea if I am taking too much or too little. I did also buy measuring spoons at the 1/16 tsp size since a TSP to MG conversion site indicated that 9mg is less than a 1/16 tsp equivalent. How much less? I have no idea. The hilarious thing is that inside the bag you see from BulkSupplements, is another small ziploc-type bag that actually has a small amount of the vitamin in powder form. The BulkSupplements bag indicates that there should be 1111 servings (not the 111 servings in the headline). No way there are that many servings unless I only take a miniscule pinch of the powder. I suspect that I will buy this vitamin in a different form next time.

I guess it's the right size for the description, however, I was not expecting the powder to be inside of an even smaller baggie within that pouch. The K2 powder was in a small, clear, plastic “ziplock” baggie without a logo or any company design. It just looked odd. I guess it made sense not to be free floating in a giant bag compared to the content amount that was actually provided, but it did look odd. It was also very frustrating having to figure out one serving size of less than 1mg without any sort of scoop. I feel like they should make a custom tiny spoon for it. Yeah, that would be extremely small… But definitely possible and absolutely possible to fit in that pouch. I get a kick out of it smelling like bananas… K2. I'm sure it works just fine, I haven't been using it long enough to know.
