Burpee 18 gm Fordhook 242 Lima Bean Bush, Annual Vegetable, Full Sun

As usual, Burpee seeds are first-rate growers. It took a bit longer than I guessed, but the Lima bean seeds have produced healthy sprouts and look like they will provide a plentiful harvest. It has become nearly impossible to find frozen Lima beans at the grocery store nowadays, so this appears to be the only way we will once again have the chance to eat a yummy Lima Bean Casserole.

Every seed has worked so far......so no complaints...they are doing amazing...cant wait to eat some :)

Came neatly packed. Germinated outside. 10 seeds in a pack. Now I can have fordhook Lima beans without having to spend 6.00 a bag.

I really love the Burpee brand! rather it's the seeds or plant,i feel I get a real bang for my buck after every purchase!

not much to say. tried 3 different ways to germinate, nothing sprouted. maybe a bad batch? Three stars as usually a reliable seed source.

Packet only included about 6 beans. Seeds either didn't germinate or died shortly after.

I planted 15-20 different types of seeds in April. These were planted in both starter cups and in a large container. Neither germinated. I did a third planting a few weeks later with more direct sun and not one has sprouted. This was just a bad batch I guess. Other things I planted (peas, green beans, garbanzo beans all came up.

These seeds did not germinate. Other seeds planted at the same time did germinate with the same soil, light and water conditions, but not these. I don't know why. Disappointing.

I planted these seeds in ideal conditions. Not one of them germinated.
