CAP Barbell, 25lb Coated Rubber Hex Dumbbell, Pair (No-Roll Design, Ergonomic Steel Handle, Durable Coated Weight)

These look good but I cannot tell if they are rubber coated?? Appear to be just cast iron? Hope they don't rust. I do like them although now I will need a pair of weight lifting gloves. Good grip but without glove they would be harsh. Now I am considering getting rid of my neoprene weights and replacing them with a small set of these with the rack. Good quality, great price, and fast shipping .

I am preparing to take the exam to get certified as a professional personal fitness trainer. I work in a student recreation center at a major university. Fitness is a major focus there and we have a great deal of fitness equipment including free weights, cable machines, cardio of all kinds, etc. so I am familiar with fitness equipment and what quality is in that regard. In fact, some of our free weights are the CAP brand. These CAP dumbbells that I have purchased from Walmart I consider to be of professional quality in every way. And they are priced, in my opinion, remarkably low for that kind of quality. I would recommend them without hesitation.

These were perfectly priced, the CAP brand loved and trusted and arrived 4 days earlier than expected. No damage. New in box. 12 piund weights are hard to find. These did the trick. Thank you to the vendor. Free weights are so expensive, but you came through

I read a lot of reviews and brands before purchasing. My overall opinion is buy the cheapest brand for the weights. I also bought Golds Gym and there is no difference in smell, both have some smell and considering they are rubber weights; I say deal with it for a little while until the smell gets better. Definitely would buy these again.

The weights are great. They do have an odor once you first open them but it goes away after a week or so. The rack is also very practical and a great space saver. I recommend both and you can't beat the price.

Great price, however when I opened the box the handles are covered in this greasy residue that got all over my hands (see picture). Strong rubber smell as well, but the grease is what is odd. Also the handle grip has some black stains on it which also got on my hands (assuming it’s from the rubber spray coating from the weighted ends?) hoping it’ll come off easy with some Clorox wipes.

Well, first thing I order these and a pair of 15lbs. The 15lbs came first but when I got the email confirming delivery, it stated my 10lb ones were delivered. I kind of rubbed it off maybe it was an administrative error of some sort. So the next day I received one of the 10lb with some heavy metal object that goes to a car or a piece of machinery because it smells like oil. Photos attached. At least I got both of the 15lbs ones I guess.

I'm officially done shopping with Walmart. Some of the sellers on here are scammers and will give you anything. Why is it that I opened my package and the dumbbells are dirty. I'm stuck wiping them down. I just don't fully understand but at least we have Amazon.

Terrible finish. Please inspect before use. Metal shavings were sticking out and punctured my hands. I had to file the handle. See pics

The item arrived dented, also it has been offgassing for 3 weeks and still has a strong rubber smell.
