With two rabbits and a hedgehog, I go through bedding like it's my job. Seriously, I've tried all sorts of beddings, and CareFresh is the only bedding that I will use. The odor protection is the best and it doesn't get all over the floor when my bunnies hop in and out of their cage. Highly recommend - it is worth the price!
I try to use this brand exclusively. great bedding! fluffs easily, clean, no dust and absorbent. my little hamsters do great in this. also love the price. typically shipping is quicker than current shipping time but with everything going on that should be expected.
We have tried other beddings for our pets, this is one is far the best one, the odor is minimized, and the bedding doesn't need to be replaced as often
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been such a game changer for our foster rabbits recovering from surgery. We have a tripod rabbit that is a Rex and needs extra softer surfaces for his paws so we use this all the time for him.
I absolutely love the Carefresh small pet paper bedding! It not only absorbs my bunny's pee effectively so that it doesn't leak into his litter box but it also reduces the odor. I love that it's made of natural ingredients that won't harm my bunny if he steps on them or if he happens to be adventurous and bite it. Also, unlike other beddings, this doesn't have dust which makes it easy for your bunny's nose and for you. I only use about a handful a day because a little goes a long way. Can't recommend this enough!
This is the best paper bedding we've tried for our guinea pigs litter box. It's super absorbant, and leaves our piggies feet and bums dry when they go to the bathroom. It doesn't get smelly either, which is great. Definitely our favorite paper bedding!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Carefresh has been a staple for my two classroom pets, Chocolate & Chip. It is used daily to contain the mess of their hay and droppings. It is easy to replace when dirty or wet, with no dust or odor! This product is a must have for all small furry friends, especially guinea pigs! Thank you Carefresh for such a great product!
I have been using Carefresh bedding for my rabbits for years now. We love that it is made with natural paper, no harmful toxins or chemicals, and less dust. This makes it the safest (and softest) option for those delicate little feets! We also love how you can get seasonal ones for Christmas and Halloween! After all, they are part of the family and deserve to celebrate the holidays their own way, too! My bunnies stay binkying with Carefresh!
It smells like rotting cardboard. It is still sealed in its package. It smelled up the entire storage room. We thought something was dead in the room. Finally we figured out it is the care fresh. I bought another bag from another store and it smells like that too.
Perhaps I got a bad (really bad) batch, as I have used carefresh bedding for our bunny consistently for years. My most recent purchase was a different colour than I am accustomed to (not at all a problem), was a different consistency (a problem insomuch as it would not remain in the hutch), and had splinters (a MAJOR problem--I got one stuck in my finger 1/2-inch deep, no way I was going to risk the same happening to my pet's eye). I ended up throwing the entire bag away after scooping out what I'd already used (got another splinter in the process). I will not use this brand again.
