Sturdy...

Emmie34 February 23, 2014

This is my second shower bench. My last one lasted for over 10yrs. What broke on it were the adjustment feet that keep it from sliding. This bench is easy to remove and just sits against the wall out of the way of other shower users. It's high quality & easy to keep clean.

It works for me.

This bath bench is the ideal option to be able to sit while washing one's legs and feet safely while showering. It can be placed close to the wall, while its 4-legged cousin would only fit in the center of the tub. Installation is a breeze and the bench feels stable when adjusted in place. I only wish it came in almond color (the color of my tub and tile).

Lightweight, sturdy and very reasonably priced.

Daurora March 17, 2014

Have a high Iron Tub and was worried about finding a product to fit. This product fit snugly, is lightweight but sturdy and allowed my husband to get in and out safely after his knee replacement surgery. Very reasonably priced and portable.

Almost perfect

Elizabeth October 28, 2025

I really like it. It's comfortable and sturdy. I had to saw off about an inch to make it fit my standard size tub, but I made it work. It's still stable because it has a grid of reinforcement underneath.

Sturdy Bench

Gayel February 7, 2014

This is a well built product but to my disapointment it can only be used securely in the middle portion of the tub, I was in hopes it would fit more toward the front or back of the tub. If you have shower doors it will not fit as it is too long to fit inside the shower doors

Sturdy, light weight, and comfortable shower bench

SheepDawg May 30, 2014

You should check the inside measurements of your tub before purchasing this item. I have a standard tub that is 22 inches wide on the inside and all four of the adjustable legs do not fit. If the inside of your tub is 24 inches or larger across, then all four legs will fit. Even though I am only able to use two of the adjustable legs, this bench still works great for me. It is very sturdy and comfortable to use. The adjustable legs hold firmly to the inside of the tub making a secure contact with the surface that doesn't slip. The grip is further enhanced by rubber pads that insert under the edges of the bench. The rubber pads also protect the surface of the tub from being scratched. The bench is very light and easy to put in and take out of the tub after each use. I shopped around quite a bit for a bench like this at medical supply stores only to find much more expensive and bulkier items. This bench is slim and sleek and sturdy and has a grip that doesn't slip and won't scratch the tub.

Seems sturdy

Sewladi63 January 21, 2014

I have not had an opportunity to use my bench yet, but I did sit on it and it seemed secure and sturdy. I am a plus-sized woman and was concerned about its ability to stay in place, but it was easy to install and felt secure when I sat on it.

too thick for my bathtub

wigi6962 June 8, 2014

Thought it was a standard-sized bath seat and put it together only to find it extended far over the tub and didn't fit. As I am disabled, now I am having difficulty getting to a store to return it and get the proper (standard) sized one that I require.

Don't order unless you're 100% sure it will fit your tub. My tub is average, against the wall ( not freestanding). It doesn't fit, and I missed the part that states “not returnable.” It also appears not to be very secure and sturdy. I suggest you skip this one and order a stool.
