Carex Aluminium Bath and Shower Chair with Height Adjustable Legs, Built-in Notch, 300 lb Capacity

I am so glad that I decided to purchase this shower chair for myself. I am 33 years old and have severe Rhuematoid Arthritis which makes even the simplest of tasks very difficult and tricky for me. I have been borrowing a chair from someone to try out and see if it was a good fit for me, because showering has become very difficult lately. I was using a wide seat chair with a full back support and even though I did like it in that it made showering easier, the chair was very big so I wanted something much smaller. This new Carex chair turned out to be perfect! It fits in my tub perfectly, not snug or crammed in at all. I love the rounded seat as apposed to the traditional rectangular shape and with only 2 easy to turn knob-screws, it easily assembles or disassembles for easy transport or storage! It adjusts easily, which is great for me because I'm short and sit lower to the ground than most. The shower head holders are much to small to hold a shower head, however. I just use them to hold my loofa instead. I couldn't be happier with this chair!

This is exactly what I needed. All of the features it offered are great. I love the adjustable legs. It makes it so much easier to get up & down without help. It is also very sturdy. This chair is the easiest assembly I have ever had. The legs and seat are marked for fit and the bolts are a 'wing nut' type--NO tools required! I got this for my wife and she could not be more pleased. It is both sturdy & comfortable, fits nicely in our small bathtub (17"). I would not hesitate to highly recommend this chair.

Tool free assembly with good instructions. It is very stable. I needed a seat that was not curved up on the sides without a back. This is the only place I could fund one, and reasonably priced. I assembled it in a short time and it works great.

Bought it for my husband in preparation for knee surgery. Assembled easily. Nice height. Now we use it just to put on our shoes!

Needed something for our grandmother in the shower. This put together very easily. It is sturdy & doesn't slip around easily on the floor. The price is affordable- most others are $10-20 higher. Perfect for what we needed.

It is sturdy but can be a little bit slippery when you get soap on you bum. Setup is a piece of cake. Love the idea of the slot for the hose however, my hose is the size of my little finger (about 3/4th of an inch) and can not get pass the entry of the slot. See photos

Love the bench! It's very stable and comfortable. However, I bought it with the idea that I could place the handheld shower in one of the two places available to hold it. Unfortunately, that's not the case. The shower head would fit in the hole - IF the OPENING to the hole were wide enough! It is only 5/16" and my metal hose is 7/16". Can't enlarge the opening because the molded seat is hollow and water would get inside. Check your hose size before ordering!

The seat is good, it does its job. It looked smaller in he pic (yes, I know there were dimensions) Assembly was super easy Product is sturdy It takes up too much space in the tub. Just my opinion. I wanted to sit on it to shave legs and to loofah my feet

Poorly made. Legs are cheap aluminum and does not support a person who weighs only 180 ponds. The chair is suppose to hold up to 300 pounds. The legs gave out while in the shower and the bolts that hold the legs were stripped. I was very disappointed since the reviews were good on the chair. It was a waste of money since now I have to buy another chair hopefully of better quality.
