This is the 2nd time I've purchased this brand cane. I still have my purchase from 9 years ago, I use everyday, as well as my walker. They are just scratched from putting in the walker basket cart all these years. I bought these new ones as they will be used on my many visits to Dr. appointments at Mayo Clinic as they look nicer. Definitely recommend straight handle over a curved any day. Much better grip and comfort.
This is very adjustable, and it works based on your highs. And I uh, even though I only used the ones, but I'm going to be learning how to use it eventually, and it was this will work great. Especially when you're in therapy and you can start balancing yourself with it highly recommended. I want to get activity.I'm sorry, well
this cane is a great value and well worth buying. the handle is confortable to grip and is more reasuring to hang on to than those spongy grips. it is ajustable in height too. i bought one just like it last spring and bought this one as a backup in case i lost it somehow.
I bought this cane to use in the winter for my wife as she has trouble coming down our pathway because of her weight. I put a ice prong on it, along with the attachable light and now I have to get more of these for her friends. The handle is very comfortable and the cane is adjustable. A little bit pricey, but I hope that it will last a long time.
My husband had a cane just like the one we ordered but the padding on the handle finally wore out after using it every day for quite a while. I searched local drug stores with no luck and finally searched on line and Walmart popped up with just the exact cane. This is a straight cane with a padded handle and adjustable. It's my husband's preferred style. The ones with the curvy top take up too much room. He was really happy when I brought this new cane home. The best part was that I picked it up the very next morning at our local Walmart. What an easy way to get what we needed. Thank you Walmart for a great system, great price and great service.
This is a typical well designed cane that does the job. A good choice for those that do not need a folding cane.
You will need to add a footer to this cane if you want it to stand on its own and for it to be more stabilizing. Very light weight and practical.
Perfect for use after hip surgery! My hubby is 5'11" and 180 lbs. Was so happy with the overall workmanship and adjustability! The blue color was also manly! The price was exceptional.
I previously purchased two of these canes from Walmart. I misplaced one of them and needed a replacement. This is a dependable product for a person with walking difficulties. Peter
This Carex cane (the shaft part) is outstanding. The shaft is very strong. I've bought the same cane over and over again because it is so sturdy and gives excellent support. I've fluctuated in weight over the past several years but currently weight 250 again. I apply a LOT of pressure on the cane because my leg is so bad; I really can't put much weight on my leg, so the cane bears much of my weight. That being said, the only complaint, drawback about this cane is the padded handle. On every one of these canes that I've purchased, the shaft always remains strong and solid, but the padded handles have split and gone bad, and to my knowledge, there is no way to repair or replace them. However, I've continued to buy the same cane despite the padded handle going bad, because it is the most "stable" regular cane I've found to walk with. In my opinion, it's more stable than any curved handle or curved shaft canes I've used. I hope Carex improves the handle, but even if they don't, I will keep buying this cane.
