Carex FGB21000 0000 Textured Wall Mount Grab Bar, 1 Count

Just installed but haven't used. However this bar looks really good with excellent textured section and plain stainless steel ends. Not a decoration but very useful and well designed and heavy duty grab bar.

Stainless steel and built well. It's really used for horizontal mounting, which is not noted in product description.

It's simple enough. Has a shiny, presumably rustproof finish and a pair of rubber gaskets to prevent dirt or mold from accumulating under the mounting plates. Stainless steel screws; be sure to pre-drill the holes with a 1/8" bit. Feels exceptionally solid and has nice knurling on it to ensure a secure grip. Price is good, too: I don't know why this one costs less than the 12" grab bar.

The only thing at Home Depot or Lowes that comes close sells for more than double the price. I'm glad I remembered to check with Walmart. They often outperform other retailers.

Hardware is great.

This is a heavy duty bar and comes with good long quality screws. The screw heads do show but I have no problem with this..

The steel knurled grab bar is excellent for use in the shower or bath...it's texture makes it easy to grip and your hand won't slip! Good for everyone especially older folks...

this is just the thing I very much needed. place on tub wall to help me hold on to while bathing. I like it.

ordered to install in Mom's bathtub. The fixed ends makes it impossible to place at an angle. Listing really needed to specify horizontal or vertical only.

Rusted out after only a few months. See photos attached. Tried to add photos but was unable to do so.
