This is really an accident prevention necessity as well as an aid for getting into a bathtub. just regret not getting sooner. it's definitely worth the cost and I highly recommend

Carex Bathtub Transfer Bench
This is exactly what my Mom needed, to enable her to shower safely on her own, after having surgeries on her leg and hip. What a difference it makes. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Just what I needed for bad knees and back.
This bath chair was easy to put together and is ok for my weight which is 210 plus Yet light enough to move in and out of tub. At my age it will get a lot of use.

Useful shower chair. Works great.
This seat has been very helpful for showering after foot surgery. Makes it easy to get into shower without stepping over the side of the tub. Lightweight but sturdy.

Great product.
It is perfect. I was worried because the inside of the tub is shallower than the outside of the tub. The legs adjusted perfectly. My experience with Carex products is always great. Their customer service is very good also.

Tub bench
I wish it had one more inch in height. The garden tub is 23" and this just barely clears. A good, sturdy bench. Easy to assemble and adjust.

Just Awful
Although I purchased a brand new bench, I was sent a returned item in a destroyed box. Who wants a used shower bench? Yuck. See the picture below. Walmart would not accept a return of this item despite all of the happy language about returns on this page. I guess it is buyer beware on this site.

Don't Buy This Carex Bench at Walmart!
I purchased this Carex Tub Transfer Bench from Walmart on 1/12/24. After I ordered it, I realized it would not fit in my bathroom, so I purchased the Carex Tub single chair. This bench arrived, and I have not opened the box. When I applied for a refund today (1/27/24), I was notified that the bench is NOT RETURNABLE! My mistake... I now see on the Walmart website that the item is not returnable. SOOO... Suggest you buy this items somewhere else, with more consumer-friendly terms in case you have toi return it!
