Carroll Shelby's Birria Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 oz

I used mild rotel instead of the diced tomatoes because that's what we had and subbed the 1/2 cup water for beef broth for more flavor. I did sprinkle coarse sea salt on the roast prior to using the seasoning packet too. This turned out SO good. Rave reviews from my family. Tasted just as good, if not maybe a little better than the Mexican restaurants we have had birria tacos at before. I did get cinnamon scents while it was cooking but didn't taste it when we ate the tacos.

It was great. We followed the instructions on the package (novel concept, I know!) and it was awesome and I liked that I could control the amount of sodium in the finished product.

Most seasoning packets are mostly a bunch of salt; this has you add salt separately and is all seasoning. I followed the recipe on the back for tacos, and it was a huge hit in the family.

I made really a pork. It was so good. The package seasoning package was wonderful and you don't need anything else but the packet.

i used it on regular hamburger meat and 8t had a funny taste to it, not a bad taste but different so i dont recommend it for hamburger meat but im sure on shredded beef it would be good.

My family enjoyed the tacos I made with this seasoning! Definitely will buy again. Saves time when you don't want to mess with the peppers etc… to make homemade.

I like the flavor we personally add salt to our pot or pan when using this, birra seasoning but you add your vegetables, I prefer bell peppers and onions is a good flavor and saves a lot of time.
